4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I like that I can earn an associate degree by taking dual credit classes.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I have liked most of the teaching experience except for two teachers. One of them ccouldn't teach very well while the other teacher would make students feel dumb when they asked questions.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: They give access to computes for those students that don't have one and they also have people who can help you.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: Because of the field of study that I am in, there aren't many classes to choose from. The hours and days are set for you. But that's the sacrifice you have to take to do something you love.

Overall Experience: I love my school because of their requirements to get into the nursing program. I applied once and got in. Their requirements are not hard at all if you follow all of the steps that they give you. Everything is mapped out for you, you just have to put in the effort.

Overall Experience: Class sizes are small and I love it. It allows you to develop relationships with the instructors. I found that when the instructors know who you are they are more willing to help you and can see your efforts.

Online Courses: I despise online courses. I have not taken an online course at my current school, but my past experiences were awful. I had a hard time contacting the instructor for questions and when the instructor did get back to me the assignment deadline had arrived. When taking an online course you have to be willing to teach yourself different things.

Student Body: The campus is not as diverse as most campuses due to its location. It is very small so most of the students stick together based on the field of study that they are in.

Tuition & Financial Aid: My experience with the financial aid office was the worst out of all the schools I have attended. Not because I was denied financial aid but because the school bases the decision to give financial aid based on the number of hours you have attended school. They also wanted all transcripts from all schools you were enrolled in. This hurt my chances of being granted financial aid. When I was younger I registered for a lot of classes and did not drop or attend the class so I got F's. I was unaware at the time that this would happen because I did not want to talk to an advisor because of the long lines. Now that I'm older I understand the processes better. I have an Associates of Arts and received financial aid when I obtained my Associates and the school is not willing to take that into consideration.

Career Services: I have a friend that is apart of the nursing alumni program at my school. They have meetings to discuss how things can be improved and to give insight on what is going on in the working world to keep the program up to date.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: When I was applying for the nursing program they had step by step instructions online to help the students keep track of what correct steps to take and when. As you completed each step the item would be checked off. This made things simple versus having to figure it out on your own or trying to set up an appointment with an advisor.

Academic Experience: My major is nursing and the school has a new Health Science facility designed for its nursing students. All of our courses are located in one area with study areas as well.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: I am most impressed with the student center and staff. Compared to other colleges and universities that I attended I love the fact that the staff is friendly and eager to help students.

3 College Student

Overall Experience: I believe that the experiences that were gained here, allowed for a new way of looking at my career choices.

3 College Student

Online Courses: I found that peer-to-peer interaction as well as the workload was manageable and worth my time.

4 College Student

Student Body: The student body is diversified to the point where I hear at least three different languages outside of classes, it's great!

3 College Student

Career Services: It's a community college, there is really not much to say

3 College Student

Academic Flexibility: The accommodations given towards education are substantially adequate.

3 College Student

Academic Experience: Not necessarily completely for my main major, but the classes that I took were relevant to my specific needs at the time in that I needed the credit due to the school district's credit requirements.

4 College Student

Academic Experience: The professors were great and always willing to help. They did not do anything that I would consider to be a trait of a bad teacher and that they were pretty darn polite.

4 College Student

Campus Resources: The teachers were not only helpful, but very polite and the only difficulty found was that the main campus was quite far from my home, so reaching them after school was a problem.

3 College Student

Career Services: It's okay. The teachers are very helpful though in helping me pursue my future career.

3 College Student

Campus Resources: They have help available at all times. The only problem is I am a student studying at a different campus and not at the main campus. The main campus is where all the help and resources are available.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Just wish there were more student worker opportunities
