Party Scene

{{ error }}
1 College Freshman

Party Scene: The party scene is non-existent. I don't know why this is a deciding factor seeing as how much you are paying for your education.

3 College Sophomore

Party Scene: They do a lot of on campus activities at night which is cool, keeps people on campus instead of driving downtown sometimes.

3 College Sophomore

Party Scene: It's ok. It does what it needs to.

1 College Sophomore

Party Scene: My school is by no means a party school in the normal terms. A party at my school is board games, music, junk food, and movies where we all gather in a common space and just have fun. We dont have any drinking parties that I know of, its a pretty mellow quiet school where fun is defined by number of activities there are not by the number of drinks per person.

1 College Junior

Party Scene: I don't live on campus so I don't know nor do I hear about it.

The Milwaukee area has a large amount of bars and clubs, so some place is almost always hopping. The city has everything from a gothic scene at Club Anything to a little bit of Ireland at Mo's Irish Pub, which also serves food with its spirits. There isn't a huge rave scene in Milwaukee, but there are places to go dancing and have a good time.

Milwaukee is also home to several comedy clubs. Comedy Sportz is similar to "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" and offers a wide variety of shows during the day and night. It is cheap entertainment, with most shows costing around $5, which is great for students on budgets. Also, they have midnight shows every Saturday night dubbed the "Adult Show," where the comedy becomes more risqué. Like many other aspects of Milwaukee, if you want a specific type of nightlife, the city probably has it.
