3 College Student

Parking: I think they should add parking, if you have a later class there it is very hard to find a spot.

5 College Freshman

Parking: The parking structure at Alverno =best thing ever.

5 College Sophomore

Parking: They have multiple parking lots and parking structures.

4 College Senior

Parking: The parking at Alverno is close but limited. With a campus only a block big what the heck do you people expect?

3 College Junior

Parking: The parking is free and it's not too far from where classes are held, way better than the bigger universities.

Parking on campus rocks! It's free, there's always a place to park, and since the campus is relatively small, students are only about a five-minute walk from class regardless of where they park. Students who have overnight guests can get a temporary parking pass from the Austin Hall desk worker. This is free and easy to do, as well.

Unlike a lot of colleges, there are only a few parking lots on Alverno's campus, and one is strictly for faculty and staff use. However, this isn't a big deal because plenty of other parking is available, as well as additional street parking. If a student parks in the wrong spot, she'll get ticketed by Safety and Security. The cost of these tickets depends on how many other tickets you've gotten in the past. Tickets can be appealed, but saying that you needed to park in a handicapped spot because you were late to class does not count as an appropriate excuse.

Permits are free! When freshmen move to campus, they will receive information and paperwork for a parking pass. As long as the student fills out the information about her car and hands it into Security, she is free to park on campus.
