Majors: I didn't have any problems getting into the program that I chose. The college goes through every detail with you and have you meet your advisor and offer walk in services for advisor, financial aide , business and student department whenever you need to.

Majors: I love the way you are involved in many different aspects of your college life with diversity, classes and friends.

Local Area: I already live in Milwaukee, and love the variety that it brings to you as a adult.

Campus Housing: I have not heard any bad things about the on campus housing.

Drug Safety: I don't see or hear about the use of drugs or drinking on campus.

Off-Campus Housing: There are apartments, townhouses and house that can be used for renting.

Weather: Our college has an alert system that they sent you text, email and even announcements about the weather affecting our college. They make sure that we are notified in enough time so we don't get stuck or waste time coming to class if the class has been cancelled. And this is for weather , teacher reason and any other reason for the college closing

Scholarships: Our financial aide department id the best , they go out of their way to help you in getting the aide you need to get an education at their facility.

Transportation: We have a students advocate group that you can go to if you need help in this area and they are very helpful in getting you transportation if needed.

Diversity: Our college has a huge range of diversity. It is an only girls college. Which I think makes it very easy to get an education

Athletics: Our college has a week long table sections where clubs and sport activities have sign up sheets for people to join. It make's joining clubs and the sport teams very easy.

Greek Life: There is no greek life but there is group you can sign up for, but they aren't advertised good.

Health & Safety: Safe inside the campus but sometimes outside of campus at night isn't a good idea to walk alone.

Administration: Attendance is a big thing that's really enforced and they are strict on. also drugs use is prohibited, as well as cigarettes on campus grounds.

Diversity: It's really diverse and accepts everyone of any race, religion, sexual orientation, etc.

Overall Experience: It is an all girls school with a grading system based on overall performance, not grades. The teachers form a bond with their students, taking the time to help improve their knowledge and make corrections on homework. There are no grades; it's all about meeting specific classroom criteria.

Most students who have made it through the majority of their years at Alverno say that they cannot imagine being anywhere else. In fact, many students who leave Alverno to go to other schools because of finances or because they didn't think Alverno was a good fit, often come back. Alverno is not just a school—it's a place that teaches women to think outside of the box and to understand themselves. It becomes a home for many people. Alverno graduates go on to become important women in their workplaces, communities, churches, and homes. The College offers students a unique opportunity to take a really good look at themselves and say, "Who am I?" and "Is this who I really want to be?"

Most people say that going to college is an investment in your future, but coming to Alverno is an investment in not only your future, but also your community's future. Almost all students who graduate from Alverno get a job within six months of graduation. Its graduates are competent, well-rounded, and have made a name both locally and internationally. At Alverno, students are pushed to analyze documents, literature, and one another. They are also encouraged to continuously self-assess and focus on their success.
