Online Courses

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: It's probably just like you would find at any other school.

3 College Senior

Online Courses: It isn't as user friendly as I would hope. I can navigate online courses with no issue, however I am very familiar with computers. My brother, however, hates taking online courses as he find it extremely difficult to even register for courses. I feel that the online course software Blackboard, is slightly out of date. I wish it was more user friendly and easier to navigate through the different courses one is enrolled in, and that it would be easier to interact with other students rather than scrolling endlessly though board posts.

Online Courses: Online courses are great if you have a good instructor. Due to the fact that these classes aren't held on campus, you're essentially responsible for your future. Online classes are taught through blackboard and the workload varies on the professor. I've had online classes that require up to 48 hours of work a week and online classes that assign as little as 6 hours of homework a week. Registration for online classes are very easy, interaction and communication in online courses depends on the professor and the course you're taking. Most online professors require a discussion board for each chapter and a response to two peers. As long as you hold yourself accountable and manage your time properly, online course can be very easy.

4 College Senior

Online Courses: I took online course one time. It was a great class and the professor was also great. When I have question to ask, I can just e-mail the professor and get a reply back within 8 hours. I'm very satisfied with this class.

3 College Freshman

Online Courses: I personally have not taken any online classes but I have heard by many that it is a great opportunity to work on it if you are available at different times. However, this makes many lazy and makes them procrastinate a lot.
