2 College Junior

Academic Experience: Hancock doesn't have a lot of business instructors. This wouldn't be so bad if a majority of the staff was enthusiastic about teaching. I've had to drop two of my major courses in the past due to lack of communication on the instructors part.

Being a business admin major requires a lot of work; math classes, accounting, economics and business classes have a heavy workload. There's a lot of reading and the major requires a lot of dedication. It's important to stay focused and positive. Falling behind on one chapter can throw you behind on most future chapters.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: My major is accounting. They don't have an accounting program here at Allan Hancock, but they do have some great classes with great professors to help me prepare for transferring to University.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Allan Hancock puts a lot of time and effort into their STEM majors. There's plenty of help provided, and staff that is more than willing to accommodate.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: STEM Center acts as a hub for students in similar majors.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: there are a lot of opportunities for a child development major! there are many early child development classes, and even a daycare center on campus and ecd majors can work in !
