Health & Safety: Safety on campus is a very bigood serious matter that everyone takes serious.

Administration: I think the administration could loosen up about visitation hours. I do not understand why visitation can't just be 24 hours. People are going to visit regardless...

Party Scene: I don't go to parties, so I could not accurately rate the party scene

Off-Campus Dining: I enjoy the nearby restaurants

Local Area: It's an okay place to be.

Greek Life: I would say Greek life is almost the heart of campus and its engagements.

Off-Campus Housing: A rating would not be applicable from me as i have not actually looked for off campus housing. I have lived in campus dorms all three years so far.

Athletics: I love our athletic program

Athletics: Football is the only thing that matters and the players are mostly full of themselves. There is no drug or alcohol testing and the facilities are only available to major sports

2 College Freshman

Local Area: There is nothing around. We are legitimately in the middle of nowhere.

3 College Freshman

Majors: Some majors are extreeeeemely weak and shouldn't even be considered when looking at this school

2 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: There is nothing close so it is not possible

2 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I currently stay in honors. We ha many things prided hat have yet to be followed through on. For instance, we do not have wifi and the showers - which were supposed to be finished over the summer- have yet to be starte on reconstruction.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: It's really dangerous because the hazing is bad, but I hear a lot of people enjoy it. It certainly isn't what it used to be on this campus

2 College Freshman

Administration: The police do a very poor job of making us feel safe. I can't even walk to the cafeteria at night without a fear that I might get jumped or raped or shot.

1 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There is a total of one place to eat off campus. And that's if you walk 25 minutes to get there. The food at the offcampus places is not good for you so it is definitely a treat but it's best to make friends with someone who has a car.

2 College Freshman

Scholarships: It was a complete run-around. People would send me to other people so they didn't have to deal with me, these people never had the answers I needed and just lead me back to the original people.

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: Living on campus is alright. The new dorms are great because they are more clean and well built. The worst part is it is far from class buildings and the gym. It is very expensive for a private room. It is basically the same amount as living off campus. The process is very unfair, slow, and the people are rude.

3 College Junior

Local Area: Only a High School is near by, but its 20 miles away and we don't hang out with younger kids unless it is volunteer work or educational classes.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Just way too far to drive and they close so early.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: There are some houses on the stretch which is ten miles from the school. Some live in PG which is 20 miles from school and its rare for people to live in Vicksburgh which is a total of 40 miles away from campus. I know it must cost a lot because they have to drive everyday and it is hard to find roommates.

3 College Junior

Health & Safety: People tend to break into rooms during the spring. I feel if i got bit by a snake, I would not make it to a hospital in time because we are so far away from everything. The cameras here do not even work and there are plenty of people sneaking into dorms and taking food from Pizza Hut and other campus food places.

2 College Junior

Scholarships: I honestly do not know if i have any financial aid from the school. I know I need more scholarships so I can afford more books and pay my fees. This school is frustrating when it comes to scholarships and handling money.

3 College Junior

Majors: Typical internship is quite fun. Mine was not paid, but I was able to expand my knowledge in finance and management. The company or organization trusts their interns with specific tasks and confidential files. It is easy to make friends with other interns, because they are also new to the job and everyone is all friendly. Being on time is key. At the end of the internship, you can get a reference letter for other jobs you apply for. If you perform well as an intern than your boss will write a great letter to your next boss.

4 College Junior

Majors: My program was not hard to get into. It is all about what you want to aim for and accomplish. Having an adviser or counselor will help get into a program that will suit your interest.
