Greek Life

2 College Sophomore

Greek Life: I honestly know nothing about the Greek life on campus. I know a handful of kids involved with the Greek life. It is something that I attempt to stay away from.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: Greek Life is more so for making friends than living together. There are no actual sorority or fraternity houses.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: I'm not a fan of Greek life and do not plan on becoming a member

3 College Junior

Greek Life: I am a non-Greek, but I have many Greek friends. I do not feel that Greeks are more powerful nor more popular than non-Greeks. At Albright, I feel that we all see each other as an equal student. I do not see Greeks as snobby or cliquey, but you always have that one person who thinks that he/she is better than the rest. There are numerous options for Greek housing available off-campus.

Greek Life: I already wrote a brief review about Greek life at Albright College so I'll be short here with a generic summary. Many students involved in Greek life are involved on campus as tour guides, student workers, club members or club members with positions, etc. Therefore, many non-Greeks know these students and are friends with Greek life members. Each sorority and fraternity (we have three of each and a service/co-ed fraternity) has a different style/different personality on campus and it's fairly simple to find out which organization a potential new member will join. If you're not in Greek life, no big deal. From my point of view, Greek life at Albright is nothing like the media says it is and one can make connections and friends in the safety of a small school. Housing is not available but affinity housing is available.
