3 College Freshman

Weather: It is Michigan so the weather is indecisive. There is quite a bit of rain, which was surprising to me.

3 College Freshman

Weather: Amazing to be on campus in the warm weather, and not bad in the cold weather.

3 College Senior

Weather: Typical Michigan weather, unpredictable and winters are long.

4 College Sophomore

Weather: This is Michigan and the weather tends to confuse us. However, most activites around the campus are usually held inside, so there really isn't any fuss.

4 College Freshman

Weather: Weather is typical Michigan weather -- tempermental. Since campus is so small, it's really not a big deal to walk through snow or rain to get to class. If it's really bad, though, you can sometimes get campus safety to drive you. When the weather is nice, though, it's great to study or hang out outside.

Some students loathe the Michigan weather at Albion, and others love it. The first two weeks of school can be unbearably hot, but after Labor Day weekend, things start to cool off progressively until winter. Then, it's time to break out your winter coat, hat, scarf, and gloves, because even the shortest walk across campus can leave you shivering all over. Spring doesn't really start until well after spring break, so most of the time you'll be covered from head to toe.

Dressing in layers is always a good option because Michigan weather is so unpredictable. For that same reason, you should invest in an umbrella. Just be prepared for all four seasons, and let the clothes you bring match accordingly.
