5 College Junior

Overall Experience: I love this school. I would not want to go anywhere else. I have made a ton of friends and memories there. I cannot imagine myself being happy at a different college or university.

Drug Safety: The school protects our privacy rights. If they do not have a reason to go in your room, then they won't. If you look suspicious and there are rumors about you going around on campus, they will keep an eye on you. We have cameras in the hallway, so if they see anything that violates the residential life rules, there will be disciplinary action.

Academics: Everything depends on the type of professor you have. Each professor works differently. Some might give you more work than others.

Campus Quality: The campus has many "green" areas to go outside and play games with friends. At least once a year the student government has a man hunt competition. Our campus is the perfect size for it. There are many events held at the student center. There is always a good turn out. The Student/Campus Center has much to offer: a computer lounge with free printing, pool tables, snack bar, ping pong table, video games, a bar and much more.

Party Scene: Since the school's location is very close to downtown New Haven, there are many night clubs and bars you can go too.

Majors: My major is art management. I am able to decide what my major is. We do not have separate admission processes for different programs.

Majors: I love being a part of art management. The professors are extremely nice. They have opened up my mind to new ideas and have helped me expand my own.

Athletics: For having such a small campus, we make due with what we have. We do not need a huge athletic center. We simply do not have the need for one. I enjoy our athletic center very much. Especially the olympic sized swimming pool.

5 College Junior

Campus Housing: The school offers four mansions to dorm in and one typical styled dorm building. Since the campus is very small, if you live on campus, you will know everyone else that lives there too. It is a little pricy to live on campus, but you deffinitely pay for a good experience.

5 College Junior

Parking: There are always spots available. Parking is completely free. If you live on campus, there really is no need to have a car. You can get to any building in less than 10 minutes.

3 College Junior

Administration: There are times when it can be strict and not so much other instances. For example, if it is going to snow, students are not allowed to be parked in certain parking lots. We receive emails and newsletters are posted everywhere. If you park there, your car will get towed. That is the only time they are strict with parking. Other than that, you can park in any parking lot at anytime.

Greek Life: We do not have any Greek life on campus. If a student would like to join a Greek house, they are allowed to join some of Yale's.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: Things could run smoother in the office but over all, they always find ways to help me receive more money. It is a process but the end result is always good.

5 College Junior

Transportation: We are able to use the Yale Shuttle which is free. This is how most students who do not have a car on campus get around. It is very convenient. The stop is near the entrance of campus.

5 College Junior

Technology: We have six computer labs on campus. All have free printing. There is always a computer available and if not, you can rent a laptop from the school.

3 College Junior

Academics: The professors are usually people who work in the business they teach. This semester I am being taught Business Law by an actual lawyer. There is a lot to learn but I think because the teachers are part time and have a lot going on in their own lives, the homework is very light.

4 College Junior

Technology: Computer Labs are on the third floor furthest away from the dorms. There is only one tiny elevator in the building so it is difficult to climb all those stairs but no one is ever using the labs at night.

5 College Junior

Parking: Their is no cost to park as an off-campus student and there is plenty of parking for night classes. I am not sure what the day time is like.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: New Haven has a lot of restaurants, however it is a far distance from the campus itself. We share the city with Yale which is where all of the good shopping and restaurants are.

3 College Junior

Academics: I find that being a part of the Adult degree program the classes are average and the work is too light to prove you have mastered the content. This semester I have no homework assignments other than reading and only take tests to justify my grade. I would rather practice the skill I want to learn through homework instead of possibly studying the wrong material.

Academics: work load is heavy and must be completed can't miss class or you will fail

Parking: No complaints are school is pretty small so it's never too crazy

Majors: Albertus Magnus is a student centered college. It is in a neighborhood so that makes it feel very home-like. The staff is extremely helpful and caring which is a big plus!

4 College Junior

Majors: I'm very happy with the program, because my focus is in healthcare. yes, i would do it again with no questions ask. My career goal is to help sick patients the best way i can to make sure that they are getting the best care possible. I'm confident that i will find a job when i graduate.

3 College Senior

Administration: The campus is pretty laid back. Students don't get in trouble too often. Drinking on campus when you are underage is frowned upon and if you get caught drinking, there will be consequences to your actions. Resident Assistants do rounds around the building and you could get written up.
