Tuition & Financial Aid at Northwest Vista College: Tuition at Northwest Vista College is cheap, because it is a Community College, and I get Financial Aid. Financial Aid covers everything, and I have money left over.

Tuition & Financial Aid at San Antonio College: As usual with any college, the Financial Aid department is absolutely the worst. I've recently applied for Financial Aid and i made sure that my FASFA was correct. Last semester i started working but i've quit that job and applied for a work-study job. It turns out that because I worked last sememster and filed as a dependant, I don't qualify for the pell grant and the workstudy money that i have been offered for the next semester is way lower than I have this semester. This semester i've gained $2000 but i was offered $400. It's insane! I'm paying for my own schooling, no help from my mom, and they don't realize that I really need all the money I can get if I want to avoid taking out loans. My sister's schooling is payed for by my mom's hazelwood but she's already $15,000 in dept because she has to pay for her room and board. I want to avoid that at all costs! I wish that the Financial Aid department and FASFA would be more understanding of the financial situations that the students are in.

Also, when emailing the financial aid department, they take their sweet time replying to you. I had emailed the department and didn't get a reply until 3 weeks later. If i go to the department to talk to someone, there really isn't anyone there and i'm stuck waiting more than 20 minutes for someone to finally come up to the window. I'll ring the small bell that they offer and when someone finally shows up, they are angry that they actually have to help someone. Other times, i'll find that the workers are on their phone or checking facebook while the student they are helping is talking to them and trying to get answers. I really wish that the workers there would actually help the students.

Tuition & Financial Aid at Northwest Vista College: I don't know much about the financial aid and tuition things. Although I'm getting the value of education that I'm paying for.

3 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid at San Antonio College: The tuition is great, it's very reasonable and I get my money's worth. At my school it's really easy to get financial aid done because there's an office they offer there.

5 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid at San Antonio College: Very easy fast, and tuitiin is very very reasonable best part about the campus
