Career Services at Northwest Vista College: After my friend graduated he loved the help he received from the shcool. They were very eager to help him out.

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: when i advised my math professor that i didn't understand how i was getting all of the equations correct and the work yet my answers were coming out wrong if she could tell me where/what am i doing wrong. her response was "you're getting the answers wrong so don't get them wrong." this was not the help i was asking for and she knew it which was disappointing. I also was having shoulder surgery the day of a quiz so i asked if she could accomodate and allow me to take it early and the response was "NO!, if you are not here you get a 0." so i had to take the 0 sadly.

Online Courses at San Antonio College: my online teacher never responds to any of the students questions. i have reached out to 2 other students that have left their phone number in the class chat as i have neither of us have received the help we needed so we have been trying to help each other. sadly its like the blind leading the blind. I'm seeking help from a friend who majored in English.

Tuition & Financial Aid at San Antonio College: Since I had to drop out years ago when my support decided not to help me with my son I lost my financial aid and now that I have a daycare that is open till midnight and can watch my son 6 days a week so I can still work 40hours and attend 2 flex class's at a time, with a gpa of 3.14 I was hurt that my appeal for the fall financial aid was denied.

Career Services at San Antonio College: This school prepares you to go to a grad school, this school simply is affordable for the associates degrees. With out financial aid I cannot afford the classes at the local University and since I have been out of school for awhile I wanted to start back with a school that had smaller classes and as a single mom I also needed somewhere I could afford.

Campus Resources at San Antonio College: The Ranger! Our schools newspaper. The ranger is anoppourtunity for students to get journalism experience! I love it.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources at San Antonio College: Everything is very easy to access at the hours I'm in school, which is all day.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility at San Antonio College: I would like to attend more academic Progrms but they over lap too much

4 College Senior

Campus Resources at San Antonio College: The school stays very traditional. I appreciate the effort I get from professors but not so much administration.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid at Northwest Vista College: Financial aid helps, but transportation for gas is too high and the amount financial aid sometimes isn't enough for the trips and books, and equipment etc..

4 College Student

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: I am music major. My classes are exactly what I expected them to be ... challenging, tedious, methodical and fun!

3 College Student

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: Sometimes I hear my professors gossiping about other professors in the department. One of my professors constantly puts me on the spot in front of my class mates, to make me appear uncooperative, ignorant, stereotypically belligerent.

I am the only black student in the class. Quite often, any question I ask, or comment I make, is met with projections of negativity. I am perceived as "smarter than ... knowing more than ... being more willing to learn than ..." someone like me ... a black woman.
This bigoted mindset pollutes my attempts to learn and grasp the subject matter. Most of the time, my instructor "cannot" hear me because she is more focused on trying to find ways to belittle me.

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: I wish the professors were better and actually understood the material they were trying to teach.

2 Recent Alumnus

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: I am a psychology major, but when I first started I was placed in classes that were too easy, but couldn't get out of them. It was a bit frustrating that I was wasting money on classes I was ahead of. Some of the professors haven't been that great either. I've had professors that couldn't even teach the lesson without getting it wrong.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid at Northwest Vista College: This school helps out as much as they can, but when it comes to them being organized with Financial Aid it lacks a bit.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources at San Antonio College: The facilities are great on campus, though the bookstore is generally not so great. Getting texts books from them was expensive and a bit of a hassle. I love the library it is great. Good campus all around.

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses at San Antonio College: The new canvas system that works with all the courses is great. It is easy and straightforward and very user friendly. No complaints here other than the system being touchy with the browser you run it in and if it has all the current updates.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Resources at San Antonio College: The computer network at the SAC is fantastic! I have literally never had a problem with it. I love the way that you pay for printing, it is so simple. They always have enough computers and laptops available for checkout. They are doing a great job.

Tuition & Financial Aid at San Antonio College: The process is a definite pain. It is almost impossible to get someone on the phone who is helpful to you, and looking online gives you little to no help. This means I am forced to drive a long ways and take off time from work in order to handle dealings of my financial aid. The lines are always terrible and it take hours to simply talk to a person to hear them say "oh well you just have to go online and do this or that." I think that the school needs to revamp their online system of dealing with financial aid.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources at San Antonio College: My school as a great deal of extracurricular activities to partake in, however they are not readily advertised to students. They do hold occasional fairs and gatherings and there are boards with sheets of paper that tell of only a fractions of the available organizations. The facilities are nice and generally up to date, depending on the which campus you attend.

3 College Junior

Campus Quality at St. Philip's College: Everything is pretty spacious and basically maintained. For a community college every thing is well kept and decently new

3 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining at St. Philip's College: tacos are usually cool from hanging out under the "heating lamps" for a while. sometimes they are made to order, which is better

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid at Palo Alto College: Although the tuition was not too high, I still wish I would've qualified for Fonancial Aid. I'm thankful that the value of what I'm learning is worth the pretty penny I payed.

5 College Senior

Academic Experience at Palo Alto College: As an education major, I was thrill to find out that Palo Alto has a Future Educayors of America club that is very active. I and excited to be a part of this club and meet new people who want to teach just like me.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience at Palo Alto College: Palo Alto was very helpful in the registration process and getting to know the campus. All of my professors are very approachable and willing to work if me when I ask. They are nice and understanding, as well as inspiring.
