Online Courses at Palo Alto College: I think taking online courses are a lot less stressful than taking them on campus because you don't have to worry about going up to the school and it's easier to work around your work schedule. You can work at your own pace just as long as you log in the amount of times you are supposed to per week. The only problem was having to wait on the professors to email back because you couldn't ask them a question directly.

Academic Flexibility at Northwest Vista College: Transferring credits is very easy, since its a two year college, most things taught are basic and introductory courses so moving from degree to degree, most things stay the same. I work part time and I am always able to schedule my full course load conveniently around my work schedule. There are multiple of each course so in case I cant do one, there are more that I can choose from.

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: I really like our athletic center, I took a couple kinesiology classes in there and it was really nice. The gym is big and has pull out bleachers for our basketball games. I love our library, its always nice and quiet, I can plop down on the floor in any corner if I need and feel contempt. It is also very large and has lots of resources including books, movies, CDs, computers and they even hold books that classes require, so if you forget your book one day, there is one in the library for you to use. It's easy to make yourself feel at home at Northwest Vista.

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: The first thing I loved about our campus was the design of the facilities, the buildings look clean and contemporary, not like something old and falling down. There are always people around campus so you don't feel like your alone, plus there are always police on campus so you always feel safe. My school has a program with other public schools in our city that guarantees our admissions which is helpful to a lot of students. I loved this campus, I'll almost be sad to graduate this May.

Tuition & Financial Aid at Northwest Vista College: The tuition is very low and is affordable to almost anyone! The most of the professors really want to be there and want to teach you their subject. They all want to see you succeed and as long as you try and do your best, most are very willing to help you. I've learned so much at Northwest Vista thanks to theses admirable teachers, it's definitely worth the money spent. My experience with the Financial Aid office and other business offices at the school were rare but when I did visit them their moods were never the same. Sometimes they were very helpful and got you in and out with what you needed fast and others they were rude and seemed to not comprehend things. I suppose it depended on their days.

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: well I'm not familiar with too many other schools, but this is a fairly new college campus and has much to offer as well as a new and clean environment. There is a place to have fun and work out, a place to study and get help with papers, a place to practice if you're in a music class, truly many tools for each and every student to take advantage of.

Academic Flexibility at Northwest Vista College: So far everything has been running smoothly besides the problems I ran into for not meeting deadlines. The school itself has proven to be committed to helping you understand what needs to get done and by what deadline. One of my professors at another college didn't enter my grade and I was dropped for a class next semester. Well the college was very helpful and even got me back into my class after I the grade went through and I got to keep my original schedule.

Student Body at San Antonio College: Diversity is everything here and the typical student body is made of all walks of life from different economic, religious, political, sexual and ethnic backgrounds. The average student body has various ages in each class, and with all kinds of reasons for wanting the education. Please remember if you have nothing nice to say, don't say it all.

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: A variety of programs, including professional certifications, associate degrees and transfer programs to four year universities. The registration process is easy and smooth and if you do it ahead of time you'll be the happier. There's plenty of tutoring available. Workload is reasonable, but then my definition of reasonable may not equal yours. Ratemyprofessor is your friend if you want to take your pick of professors and of course if you register early you can get the one you want.

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: I am currently returning to college after five years of not being in college. So I am picking up where my teenage-self left off, and fixing what said teenage person left for the now older person to fix. That is my GPA and my goals, right now I'm returning with two classes but I plan on going full time come this fall. I am an Anthropology Major and I couldn't be happier with my choice.

It took a lot of soul searching and divorcing myself from the ideals that were put into me from my Father. I had to realize that what I wanted was not what he wanted for me. He wanted me to do Information Technology, and while yes I am adept with it. It's not what I want and for the longest time I had always wanted IT, but I hadn't realized that I didn't want it for me, I wanted it for him.

Now that I'm older I realize. I have to do this for me, and no one else. This is about bettering myself and achieving my dreams and goals, not his. So, now as an Anthropology major I am excited about taking all the 'needed' core requirements for the major.
