Campus Resources at San Antonio College: All, but one particular facility is overall decent at SAC. The finanical aid department is by far the worst center. For some odd reason, most of the employees in the financial aid department are clueless, incompetent and they can not seem to do their jobs without causing students to suffer, or receive their financial aid on time.

Campus Resources at San Antonio College: San Antonio College now have huge visible maps for people to read. Most instructors can direct students on where to go if they need help. What I admire about SAC is that the first day of school is always generous to its students. SAC offers free snacks, pencils, gifts and toiletries that comes in handy down the stretch.

Academic Flexibility at Northwest Vista College: I have had good experiences with the flexibility of the classes and instructors and the willingness to work with the student . However trying to deal with the financial aid department can be very frustrating and when you need documents provided to other government agencies the process can be very frustrating you really need to know who is good in the front office and who to avoid but overall it could be worse.

Academic Experience at Northwest Vista College: Being a Fine Arts major at Northwest Vista is very empowering I have had my artwork on display and I receive constructive criticism from my professors and also receive career advice as well. My one instructor gave me an opportunity to teach Fencing to middle school age kids. A other instructor showed me how to narrow my major down to what I wanted it to be verses what a counselor had me choose . So overall it's great .

Career Services at Northwest Vista College: I have heard good things about the Career Services and bad things but I think it boils down to how willing you are to work with them . To me it is not about me going in and telling them I need a job but going in with an open mind and working on whatever options that are available as a team . I need to put in just as much effort into the process as they do .

Academic Experience at Northwest Vista College: I have a learning disability which can depending on the class makes a tough course harder . I have had some wonderful professors who have worked with me to overcome this problem and I have had other professors that give new meaning to jerk . But viewing this from an overall view the professors have genuine desire to help me do the course and do well in the course .

Student Body at Northwest Vista College: Northwest Vista College has a incredible variety of students as well as instructors. I love that the instructors are so hands on and really want their students to achieve great things and will go the extra mile for us. As far as students we come from all walks of life and this adds to the wealth of learning one can receive if they are open to it. We have students fresh out of high school to single parents to people in their 40's and 50's who are returning to school . The dean of students is extremely accessible to the student body. The student body comes together when one of their own needs them to case in point when one student needed blood we held a blood drive and also took the time to register for donating bone marrow .Both the student body and staff take racial diversity as a learning opportunity and we grow from this opportunity .

Academic Experience at Northwest Vista College: The professors have a very outstanding time and experience of helping you out in their spare/ free time and teaching you exactly what we students need to acknowledge. Studying is found just about everywhere, whether at the library or with the professor alone. This school has so much programs to choose from and I would definitely recommend it amongst anybody else.

Online Courses at San Antonio College: I was nervous but it was much smoother than expected. I kinda missed the teacher to student interaction but it was more feasible at the time for me and my schedule. I learned how to manage my time more effectively.

Local Area at St. Philip's College: St Phillips is located just east of downtown San Antonio. The cost of living is great. Its a small college which makes it easy to find everything. I like that the school has all specific classes in specific buildings. I just wish there Early Childhood program was bigger there.

Tuition & Financial Aid at San Antonio College: The financial aid department at my school is one of the most unhelpful departments on campus and also has some of the rudest staff members. However financial aid is not a very difficult thing to figure out; even if its by yourself.

Academic Flexibility at Northwest Vista College: The class offerings were limited, you were pressed for time and availability was not guaranteed, but once in a class the instructors were wonderful and I learned a lot.

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: I love being a psychology major at San Antonio College. The psychology professors are amazing and I have even befriended a few. As a psychology major, there is a lot of work to be done. You really have to work on time management and figure out what best methods of studying you will need to do. The workload is of course a lot, but only because of the field of study. When studying psychology, there is so much to learn about; the way the brain works, social psychology, child psychology, human sexuality psychology, etc. You really are putting all of your effort into studying when you are a psychology major like myself. San Antonio College does amazing with their psychology program and the curriculum is superb, even compared to universities, in my opinion. It is definitely a good place to start when going in to a psychology major because it doesn't overload you with everything like a university might when starting freshman year.

Tuition & Financial Aid at San Antonio College: The school's tuition and financial aid process is a long journey. If you need to get anything taken care of with financial aid, prepare to be waiting for a long time to be called in to speak with someone about what is wrong or what needs to be taken care of. However, once you are done with getting financial aid set up, it is fairly smooth sailing after that. I really do appreciate the aid I receive and it does very much help me pay for my tuition. What I pay for tuition is very well spent because the teachers and faculty are superb. They are the sweetest group of people I have ever been around and really are there to help their students if needed. I have not had one single professor that I did not like or that was a poor professor. The education I am receiving is worth what I pay for it. Going back to financial aid, if at all possible, make sure to turn in your FAFSA plenty of time before the due date so that financial aid offices can look it over and get back to you sooner with anything else you may need for the paperwork because if you wait until the last minute, everyone is trying to submit their paperwork at the same time and it takes a long time before you will get awarded your financial aid.

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: The classes are wonderful, they are taught by very well educated Deaf Professors. I consider that very unique. The workload is reasonable if you are serious about classes. The facilities are awesome equipped needed for the classes, also all the workers in the lab are very helpful.

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: While there is no lack of work spaces, but sometimes it feels a bit messy and unorganized.

Student Body at San Antonio College: The staff at my school is average some love their jobs others do not. nothing spectacular.

Academic Experience at Northwest Vista College: The professors at Northwest Vista are helpful. Usually, they willing go out of their way to help you advance and succeed within their class. Oftentimes, you can meet with them one on one if you are having any difficulty whatsoever understanding the material. Personally, I think that is a very valuable and necessary trait of any teacher.

Student Body at Northwest Vista College: The entire synergy of Northwest Vista is pretty great. Classmates are often very open and accepting of people from various backgrounds. In addition, the campus does a superb job at making sure all cultures are well represented to its student body.

Tuition & Financial Aid at Northwest Vista College: Overall, the entire process of getting financial aid from Northwest Vista is a bit of a hassle. Oftentimes, you must fill out much paperwork. And, on top of that, if you have a hold on your account they will suspend the process. But, usually by going directly to the financial aid office you can get things cleared up.
