Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: There are a student center, library, athletic and an activity center in the campus and they were pretty simple. Each center was small and simple.

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: There is all kinds of network availability, printers, and computer labs. There is free wifi available throughout the whole campus.

Online Courses at Northwest Vista College: The online courses were more of a hybrid d type of class and were very successful. They added extra help and it made learning and access to materials easier.

Overall Experience at Northwest Vista College: My experience at this school was great. I've had a lot of fun with most of my classes. The learning experience was great. I specially enjoyed my English Composition courses because of the great teachers and help. I would not have chosen ay of the other Alamo colleges, but I am not completely sure if I made the best decision on attending this school. Although the school is great so far; I am not sure if it was the best decision to go to a community college and not a university.

Student Body at Northwest Vista College: Students are very passionate about their education and mostly take their courses seriously. The student body is very diverse with many people with different ethnicity and economical backgrounds. Everyone is pretty much respecful of others personal life and decisions.

Campus Quality at Northwest Vista College: Northwest vista is using modern technology to improve communication and assistance. It does not have many academic programs compared to other schools, but the ones it does have are very successful programs that succeed in the current economy. The game design program attracts a lot of attention and is only offered in this community college in San Antonio. The environment is very passive and so are the students and everyone seems to be very helpful and appropriate. As a community college there is no campus life.

Academic Flexibility at Northwest Vista College: My experience at Northwest Vista College is great. My classes and teachers have been very helpful and flexible. The teachers use all the resources available to improve class quality and they do their best to add extra help out of class via internet and modules. The campus was very welcoming and I had a lot of help moving around and finding my classes my first semester. I have talked with a adviser about a transfer plan and all my credits are transferable.

Tuition & Financial Aid at San Antonio College: The tuition is affordable if you are within the county. If you come the surrounding counties the tuition goes up tremendously. Plan ahead to see if the price difference would be worth the two years or just going to a four year university. Financial aid is not as available because the tuition is lower, and many are excluded from getting extra help because of other characteristics. Scholarship help is available along with a scholarship application through the school that includes you in multiple scholarships. Offer you are only allowed to win one so other applicants can have a chance which is a little disappointing if you need more than just one to afford it.

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: The teachers are good, they are some that seem preoccupied in other course other than the one they are teaching but that's something you'll find on every campus. It all depends on talking to the teacher personally that when they see you truly are working hard and can help you pass a class or get a better grade.

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: Professors come from nearby schools such as UTSA or Incarnate Word, Austin Community College, or had experience in the workforce. My accounting teacher was a CFO and retired but wanted to teach. Registration can be stressful but they allow you to see class times before they are up for registering so you can plan out your schedule in advance and even have different options

Majors at St. Philip's College: i wish counselors would get moe involve

Campus Quality at San Antonio College: The campus is great to study or take a nice walk. Computers are a plenty, work space is wonderful, and the area is beautiful. In the morning classes you can find deer or even rabbits around campus

Career Services at San Antonio College: Career Services were very helpful, they show you all the tools but of course it's up to the individual to make them work together. I think that's what makes them great, they help with your resume, mock interviews, and many online tools.

Student Body at San Antonio College: Everybody is there for different reasons, with different goals in mind. For me, I never was able to find my niche, but I saw many groups of people that would hang out ranging from just out of high school, older generations, or even high schoolers from a nearby campus. Friendly people, and there was always an event going on.

Academic Flexibility at San Antonio College: There are many classes but some just don't have enough students registered so they get dropped easily. Classes are available day, night, online, and different campuses. Many options on the classes and once you talk to an adviser sometimes they will allow you to take a class with a substitute prerequisite which helps

Campus Resources at San Antonio College: They have a track and trail to the nearby lake which is very nice. Also a gym and rock climbing wall but restrictions on time when they are available because of other classes going on. Schedule was not always convenient for me though

Campus Resources at San Antonio College: Computer labs were great, there were always space available. Wifi changed when you changed between buildings even though they were not that far apart. Lots of work space available for studying

Online Courses at San Antonio College: Truly depends on the teacher, the system they use for online classes is not bad. Online classes are all about doing the work on your own time so it's mostly about your own work ethic and how you approach the class material and manage your time.

Overall Experience at San Antonio College: It's a great school if you need a little more time to figure out where you're going, or to save money. I had trouble with myy advisers, they gave me wrong advice and its first come first serve sometimes you must wait a hour or more to talk to one. The campus is small but its new so everything is clean and there is still plenty of room to be alone to study. Computer rooms are great and plenty space was available. Their events are small but it's easy to grab free snacks and free info

Athletics at St. Philip's College: The rec center/workout room would be better and students would feel more involved if the hours were more available to students versus just classes that use the rec room. I don't think very many people get involved with sports.

3 College Senior

Party Scene at St. Philip's College: I think a lot of the people in my program are more involved in their families and school. If anything I think more people are into happy hours!

4 College Senior

Career Services at Palo Alto College: Everyone is very helpful & friendly & try to help students as much as they can before sending them to another location for help. the school also has many open facilities for the students to keep busy either before or in between classes.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience at Northwest Vista College: There are a lot of professors that truly care about what they teach and their students (ratemyprofessor.com is the best invention ever!) and the school is beautiful. The campus is lacking on the social aspect and a lot of people who go to my school have said that after high school they and their high school friends grew apart and that they don't have many friends anymore (as it is more difficult to make friends at a community college). The tuition is sooo cheap, I would definitely recommend going to community college. One last thing, if your GPA wasn't so hot in high school, going to a community college will give you a second chance at improving your GPA, so you can have a better chance at getting into the school of your dreams. The only thing is, you might miss out on the first 2 years off the "college experience".

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: The athletic center is small, but clean. The student center is the same as the cafeteria, it's decent. The library is well lit and looks out on the lake. The view is beautiful, especially when it rains! Campus activities have become few and far in between, but the campus itself is beautiful. You'll commonly see 2 ducks walking side by side around the lake area and ravens flying around the campus. Don't worry, they don't mess with anyone!
