Overall Experience at Northwest Vista College: They don't start interning until my last year there.I hadn't been able to experience what it is like in my career field

Online Courses at San Antonio College: Depends on professor of course, but most professors will give you the attention you want if needed. Professors sometimes require use of a third party online software, but the one used by the school works great; some students say they have difficulty with it, but as a student whose taken over half of my classes online, it's just fine. Online registration process is simple, and much better than some 4-year institutions' processes.

Tuition & Financial Aid at San Antonio College: You know what you're getting when you go to a community college, but the value is very much worth the cost.

Local Area at St. Philip's College: On any other day, downtown San Antonio is fairly busy on the streets, making foot travel manageble and timely. On special days like Fiesta, Spurs playoffs, it get completely crowded.

Off-Campus Dining at St. Philip's College: St. Philip's College is just east of downtown San Antonio so it takes me one bus from camous to downtown and vice versa. The food scene is diverse with both fast food chains and unique independent restaurants.

Campus Quality at St. Philip's College: The campus is currently undergoing remodeling projects for certain buildings in order to modernize the structural and academic integrity.

Health & Safety at St. Philip's College: All students are always informed of recent criminal activity. I always see campus police cruisers around campus making me feel secure especially at night after classes.

Academics at St. Philip's College: My culinary arts major has opened me to new interests and opportunities that I haven't thought of or payed serious attention to before. I had the privilege to intern at a nearby restaurant close to my home.

4 Recent Alumnus

Academics at St. Philip's College: This curriculum is very generalized because it is an Associate's degree, but it's an excellent start to your prospective cooking career and can pique your interest in certain areas of culinary arts and the hospitality industry. For me, this school experience has gotten me further interested in proper nutrition and advocacy against genetically modified foods.

4 Recent Alumnus

Guys & Girls at St. Philip's College: I don't care much for other people's taste in fashion, politics, opinions on social issues, but I do keep an open mind on plenty.

5 Recent Alumnus

Diversity at St. Philip's College: I've seen no discrimination whatsoever based on race, religion, political affiliation, sexual orientation, etc.

3 Recent Alumnus

Campus Food at St. Philip's College: I try more often to bring my own food to save money. The food served in St. Philip's cafeteria is meager quality, depending on how fresh it is.

5 Recent Alumnus

Tuition & Financial Aid at Northwest Vista College: The tuition is cheap and financial aid is available even though it is a difficult process. But there are necessary fees like the parking permit fee which is taken from every student even though not every students parks. Lots of people car pool and lots take the bus and many are just dropped off and picked up.

Online Courses at Northwest Vista College: Everything with the online classes was fine except for the fact that aces would be down sometimes.

3 Recent Alumnus

Academic Flexibility at Northwest Vista College: The enrollment and financial aid process was very discouraging for me as a first time student.

5 Recent Alumnus

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: NVC has many resources for students and teachers. the gym is great, the tutors are knowledgeable, and the Teaching and Learning Facilitation provides punctual services for facility with tech support in order to facilitate the day to day teaching.
