Tuition & Financial Aid at Northwest Vista College: My parents own their own business so their yearly income doesn't get done by our accountant until late august. This year it did not get done until about a week ago and I finally did my FAFSA. My application was processed the next day which was great, but I have been waiting for over a week now for the school to contact me about my reward. Usually I do receive a great amount

Student Body at Northwest Vista College: although there is not a strong presence of ethnic diversity there are many students from all over the world. However, there is a strong Hispanic presence. There are all kinds of economically diverse students of which can be told by the state of their vehicles. Some are very expensive and some look like they came from the junk yard. There is a slew of political beliefs and there are tons of clubs.

Tuition & Financial Aid at Palo Alto College: I wasn't eligible for financial aid, it is frustrating paying out of pocket. All of my friends have received at least a thousand dollars in aid, from the government, I have to pay for everything myself, and the people getting help are out at the clubs, or having to retake a course because they were too busy playing with their phones during class. I've received a couple of scholarships, but most of the cost I had to pay myself.

Overall Experience at Northwest Vista College: I am so excited that I chose to attend here. There are so many helpful things around campus, and I absolutely LOVE it here. I recommend this school to anyone who may be interested!

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: I love hanging out in the athletic centers. Huisache Hall is my hang out, but the CCC and the libraries and other campus resources located in Juniper Hall and Lone Oak Hall are awesome! The campus activities are awesome!!!!

Tuition & Financial Aid at Northwest Vista College: The value of my education regarding the tuition and financial aid are amazing. I live out of district and to be a full time student here it costs 2,300 dollars. It is not as bad as attending a university. I am attending this school on $12,000 in scholarships, but financially it is possible. Student loans are reasonable for those who use them, and some students are granted money with a TPEG varies in price.

Online Courses at Northwest Vista College: Online courses are just like being in the class room except sometimes the professor does not include notes the way you want to be taught, but if you ask they are more than likely going to help you try to learn in some form or fashion.

Student Body at Northwest Vista College: A typical student at NVC is the generous/outgoing type of person. The student body as a whole shines bright and always have smiles on their faces. Ethnicity isn't a problem, religion is not a problem, and sexuality does not seem to be a problem either. The levels of acceptance or challenges regarding diversity... Acceptance is most of the students, little to none do I see any challenges.

Academic Flexibility at Northwest Vista College: The flexibility of my classes and the understanding of my life outside of school from by my professors is great. I love how they understand things in life happen and it may not be at a great time we need it to happen. They are understanding, but if it becomes more of a habit to be "flexible" then they start noticing things. There have been no hassles or frustrations with my schedule yet. Although some of my credits may not transfer to the program I want to does not mean I am going to opt out of them. It is more head knowledge I can have from awesome professors that understand me and are flexible with my schedule.

Academic Experience at Northwest Vista College: Being a Pre-Nursing major at NVC is not as bad as bad as I thought it would be, but you definitely work for what your major is. The professors of these courses are willing to work with you or help you get some help on what you need to study and or learn. There is a club that is built for nursing majors and they have job/volunteer opportunities to do. The program is fun to be in and I love every bit of it. If you love nursing you will not be disappointed.

Academic Experience at Northwest Vista College: The professors are very nice. I am sure all of them are there for the bettering of your academic performances. The curriculum is challenging, do not expect to walk into this college and get the grade handed to you. Class registration processes may be difficult for those first attending, but my first year here is going great and my schedule is awesome. NVC offers study abroad and many different things to do while you are attending NVC. The student life is well kept up with and the clubs and orgs are great! NVC Rocks!

Scholarships at St. Philip's College: The process of applying is easy, and the financial aid office is extremely helpful. My problem is I do not receive any helpful money that I need. I never receive any money base off my husbands income, which truly upsets me. My husband pays everything and is required every semester to come out of pocket and in full, plus books. We are young adults and this is ridiculous.

Athletics at St. Philip's College: I honestly never hear about any sports or games, perhaps it's because I am not interested or because it's a community college. Therefore I would say not so good.

Local Area at St. Philip's College: The local area is quite poor. I definitely feel the difference of the city atmosphere on that side of town. I was even hesitant of attending St. Philips College, because of the fear of the area. I was forced to, because St. Philips was the only community college which provided the necessary program, I needed. St. Philips College turned out to be the perfect school for me, and I absolutely love attending. The surrounding area maybe displeasing to the eye, but St. Philips College is beautiful, and kept clean, and maintained.

Health & Safety at St. Philip's College: To be honest I have never felt scared nor threatened on campus. In my opinion I would say I've never witness a crime on campus. I'm sure the campus police will act accordingly if the situation occurred, but I am proud to say I feel totally safe on campus!

Overall Experience at Northwest Vista College: The teachers in my Health Science department are great like I've already mentioned.

Class sizes are reasonable, the class rooms just need windows and new desks would be nice.

Tuition & Financial Aid at Northwest Vista College: I don't know for sure if I am getting my money's worth

my housing has increased every semester and I don't see a change in the housing I'm staying at, no renovations or anything.

My meal plan has increased and there is no major difference I have seen.

The teachers help make my tuition worth it a bit more.

Parking passes are over priced and inconvenient since they did away with being able to purchase a 1 semester pass and only have the option of 2 semesters.

Student Body at Northwest Vista College: There is not a lot of diversity besides a lot of African Americans and white students. There is diversity with several students with disabilities around campus. The level of acceptance seems fine from what I've seen.

Academic Flexibility at Northwest Vista College: For the most part it was been great, minus 1 class that was a hassle to transfer but it ended up transferring & counting as an elective so that is what matters in the end,

Online Courses at Northwest Vista College: I am not a big fan of online classes but my experience with them at this university went well. I've had helpful teachers for the most part.. The workload was not a struggle for me. The teachers are friendly and helpful except for one of them.

Academic Experience at Northwest Vista College: All my major professors are smart, kind, fair, personable, helpful, and want to see students succeed.

The work load of my program is not overwhelming.

The professors are all helpful & knowledgeable when it comes to internship opportunities.

3 Recent Alumnus

Academic Experience at Northwest Vista College: The classes for my program fill quickly and there are not many times offered other than that registration is good.. it is just a matter of registering on time.

There are good study abroad programs available.

The workload for my Health Science program is not overwhelming.

Career Services at Northwest Vista College: Helpful, smart, and energetic career counselors
