5 College Junior

Career Services at Northwest Vista College: Still Attending – I have noticed that many graduates have been helped by the career services center and they are doing well in those jobs chosen for them.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience at Northwest Vista College: many teachers are helpful and understanding of life problems.

4 College Junior

Student Body at Northwest Vista College: Everyone here at VIsta gets along well together. There are many different types of people here. many for very different backgrounds but all in all everyone is ok with the diversity here at Vista.

5 College Junior

Online Courses at Northwest Vista College: Easy and convient if you are a worker and helpful information is given in these classes.

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: Every classroom has a computer hooked up to a projector. None of the classes are lacking, although some do have perks that others don't. (Not all classrooms have computers and not every classroom has a dimmer switch.) There is a well stocked library with a section dedicated to DVDs, another to computers, and a little coffee shop built adjacent to said library. The on-campus gym offers an inexpensive membership that is cheaper than most big name gyms. The campus even has an entire building dedicated to providing computers and printers to students. (Great for homework.) Probably the best thing this campus has is its multiple lab rooms, all of which are dedicated to helping with different subjects with tutors ready to help.

Tuition & Financial Aid at Northwest Vista College: The financial aid people at Vista are very friendly and efficient. They can get you through all the required Financial Aid work in 3 days and have you ready to go immediately. (Also the school gives you a neat little credit card so you can access any excess funds from your aid.)

Student Body at Northwest Vista College: This campus is perfectly comfortable for freshmen. Every teacher I've met has been very inviting; in fact some of them are graduates from the campus returning because they like it so much. The classrooms can hold 30 students comfortably and every classroom has a projector. As a student I always feel like I am getting my money's worth when I go to class. The professors actively engage their students in conversation making you feel less like a student and more like an equal during class. There are events every month, many of which are seminars designed purely to teach important skills to students. If you want a place that will ease you into college look no further. Vista is great.

4 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid at San Antonio College: I am getting a university caliber of education in the honors academy for a fraction of the price.

3 College Senior

Online Courses at Palo Alto College: Online courses are very convinient and are different expeirences compared to regular classes. Communication though is the key to staying ahead in class.

3 College Senior

Student Body at Palo Alto College: My school has people of all walks of life with each of their own distinct views and opinions.

5 College Student

Student Body at Northwest Vista College: The environment of students here at Northwest Vista include a diverse amount students; from working class, parents, older adults going back to school, fresh new faces coming out of high school, etc.

3 College Student

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: When the school wants to announce a current event or any event that is coming up, they have a bad habit of not letting students know. Yes, there are signs but not enough. They need to have someone outside and directing students to the event site and advertising what is going on.

Academic Flexibility at Northwest Vista College: I've never had a problem with my class schedules. It all depends on you as a person and what time your classes are.

3 College Student

Campus Resources at Northwest Vista College: The library is way too small. When I walk in, I look for a spot - but there are never any spots open. And if I do find a desk to sit down, there isn't a plug to plug in my computer to. It's too small, and has a scarce amount of plugs. Plus, you can't even check out a book outside of the library to use at home. The amount of text books is scarce also.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience at San Antonio College: I am an Electrical Engineer major and I have gone through these classes pretty quick with Flex 1&2 learning a bunch of useful information and turning into knowledge for the future. This school's atmosphere really helps keep me motivated in continuing my future goals.

4 Recent Alumnus

Diversity at St. Philip's College: there are people from different races. they even have international students from different countries.

4 Recent Alumnus

Transportation at St. Philip's College: Public transportation is good. There are buses that run from one side of town to the other that go by the school.

4 College Senior

Parking at St. Philip's College: Has at least over 5 parking lots, most of which are filled by the students, but at least one of them are for faculty parking.

5 College Senior

Campus Quality at St. Philip's College: Great facilities are offered, most of them are all new.

5 College Junior

Majors at St. Philip's College: I am in the Tourism, Hospitality, and Culinary Arts department at St. Philip's College. From what I've seen in this department, everyone is dedicated to their majors in this department. We have a good time cooking for clientele no matter how challenging it is. Some unique aspects of the culinary major at SPC is that we participate in some local San Antonio events such as the Cowboy Breakfast, the Thanksgiving Turkey Cook-Off at Central Market, among others. We also have an extensive connection of career and internship opportunities at high standard hotels and restaurants along with scholarship choices.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility at San Antonio College: The classes at San Antonio college are perfect for me , they were very flexible I was surprised at how well they all matched up together. I have a lot of time for other work because of this. The environment is also great the teachers there are very sociable which is good and they help out a lot. I am happy I chose to go to this college

5 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid at San Antonio College: Incredibly easy process, there can be some very long lines at the office when dropping off your necessary paperwork but the alamo cash card system is great!

4 College Freshman

Online Courses at San Antonio College: I was nervous but my online classes were very easy to use and i feel like i really absorbed the material. The only downside is the lake of personal engagement.

2 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility at San Antonio College: I'm still a senior in high school and I'm also taking courses in community college. The classes are easy, but it can be difficult to remain focus when you're living two lives, which is why I chose this grade. NEVER MULTITASK if you have the option not to!

4 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid at Northwest Vista College: They were able to process my financial aid money, however it took a while. They provide you with an "Alamo Cash Card" which allows you to cover some out-of-school expenses when you're in a fix.
