3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience at San Antonio College: The classes sizes are small, making it easier for the student to learn.

There are many ways for students to become involved with the community. They can join a club, do volunteer work and go to the events offered at school.

They have an honors program for those who wish to have a challenging learning experience.

Academic Experience at Palo Alto College: All of the professors I have had are great and care about the students. Class registration is easy and there is help available for those that needed.

Campus Resources at Palo Alto College: The campus has great resources for students. Library, computer lab and tutoring hours are available trough out the day. Campus has different activities and organizations.

Academic Flexibility at Northwest Vista College: The classes are okay just depends on how you want your schedule to be. From what I hear the thing that frustrates people is the parking because you kind of have to stalk the people who are going into their car to get a parking space or park in the parking garage.

Overall Experience at Northwest Vista College: The lake makes the school unique but it can sometime smell especially in the summer. I would choose it again because it the closest to my house and they have a bunch of activities to do

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience at Northwest Vista College: The class sizes are between 20-30 and the class style is your sitting with a partner or three other people at a table. They have a bunch of courses from ceramic to cardio kickboxing and they also all have the main courses as well. The teachers you have to pick carefully because you can get stuck with someone who is boring and who sucks at teaching.

Overall Experience at Northwest Vista College: They some people who are okay but their are some who suck at their job. They do help you but you have be their early to get help if you come a hour before they close they won't help because their's to many people already.

Online Courses at Northwest Vista College: I haven't personally taken online classes but from what i hear they are pretty okay. They sometimes give a lot of work because they think the students don't have work or other stuff they have to do. When registering they put on the side of its online course so it won't confuse the students who aren't doing online courses.

Student Body at Northwest Vista College: Everyone basically accepts everyone as long as you don't annoy any one then your okay. People just hang out with who they feel comfortable with and everyones pretty friendly. There are people who are not from San Antonio or the US but everyone accepts everyone.

Tuition & Financial Aid at Northwest Vista College: The financial aid office is okay. It just depends on who answers your question. They are some people who help you all the way and some who tell you to go here and here even though you don't understand what they mean. The tuition is pretty cheap if your just getting an associates or just doing your basics. For financial aid just tyr to make good grade so that they'll keep you on and maybe they will add some grants to you financial aid for your good grades.

4 College Freshman

Career Services at Northwest Vista College: They have classes just for working so, if you don't want a degree and just get straight to work then you can do that. They also connected with CPS and other work places to jobs.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience at Northwest Vista College: I'm a biology major. They have some teachers that are really good and do awesome labs like dissecting fish, squid, worms and other stuff. It basically depends on what teacher you get because you can get stuck with someone who is really boring and probably does no labs. The workload is not much we usually don't get any or no homework but for the exams those you have to study. To keep a good grade you do have to study really hard especially for science major. The faculty is ok their are some teacher who stuck but their are some that are really good teachers. They have a lot of internships/job opportunities especially in the summer.

Academic Experience at Northwest Vista College: The academics they offer at NVC span in different fields. The professors are good but then their some who are really boring. It just depends on who choose.I usually use RateMyProffesor to get a good teacher and it usually works. Alamo colleges are connected to all the texas public universities so, if you just want to get you basics over with at a cheap price then go to university you can go to any. If your going to private university then check with them on what you need to for their school. Registration is pretty easy. They usually do it by credits so if your over 40 credits you can get a lot of the good classes but register for classes right at midnight with the classes you want because at NVC they get taken right away. You basically have to fight for the good classes. They also have study abroad programs to spain and other places.
