Parking: The campus is mostly gated and many classes are up a very steep hill. There are buses, but it is difficult to get to class on time using them if you have classes back to back. Parking can be scarce and tickets or towing is common. It has gotten a little better since more enforcement of residents not parking in commuter areas.

Weather: For the most part, weather affects the campus a lot, but not how you think. When it rains, people are still out moving about [if they have to], mostly with an umbrella. When it's summer and really hot, people are still going here and there to get things done. When it's fall and spring, where there is warm or cool weather, then even more people will be outside. When it is winter, quite a lot of people are still outside, but are wearing warmer clothes. It mostly depends on the season.

Parking: Well, me personally, I don't have a vehicle to park....but from the looks of the student parking lots and the faculty parking lots, I would say that the student parking lots are quite spacious, while faculty parking lots are spacious in some areas and small in others.

Technology: Computer Labs Review – The computers on campus are great! Of course they too could be improved, but for now they are great. The accessibility of the computers is great as well, mostly because not too many students or people are using them constantly. And there isn't just one location, there are multiple locations: mainly in the library and in a few other buildings.

Campus Food: Cafeteria Food Review – The food served during breakfast, lunch, and dinner are good, at least to me anyways. Although it's true that majority of the year you see the same things during the same mealtimes, but the food is overall good. Of course, if go to another student randomly and ask about the dining, 8 out of 10 they will tell how bad or boring the food is, or how the service isn't too good, or anything they could think of. Though the cafeteria workers always aren't uplifted as they should, they're better than how they could be [after dealing with most students]. But yes, overall, the campus dining experience is great for me each time!

Campus Quality: Student Life Review – Student life here at Alabama A&M, can be viewed differently by different students, though most will complain about everything from the dorms to the food to the service to the classes. But I on the other hand, I very much appreciate how everything is at the moment. However, along with that, I want to be apart of those that not only want to see things better than how they already are, but also that will lend a hand to make that happen. Cleaner facilities, more green spaces, better working environments, more positive atmospheres, and better "customer service".

4 College Junior

Campus Quality: The facilities are great, and I'm thankful that they are operational and there for students' use. There may be slight maintenance issues or some "not-too-friendly" personnel, but overall they are well-kept

Drug Safety: The drug scene at Alabama A & M University is not really big, although it depends on who you hang out with. If people are doing drugs, they're usually just smoking. Drinking is a much more popular activity.

Guys & Girls: Girls Are Hot – You'll find all sorts of guys at Auburn: city boys, ravers, rednecks, and lots of good ol' country boys, too. The girls are pretty much just Southern belles. They are incredibly hot, for the most part. If you aren't from around here, it'll take a little while to get used to the accent.

Scholarships: Couldve Been Better – I received a decent amount of financial aid, but it wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. A couple of my forms got lost in the shuffle, so I had to stay on top of things. I suggest making regular in-person appointments with your financial aid officer to make sure things are going smoothly

Guys & Girls: Looking Tochill – At A&M you find sorts of people.
The boys are looking to for somebody to chill. They dress all different types of ways:preppy, thug and churches. The girl there are very out going. They all have there on style. They very friendly. Even if you don't nobody it's not that hard to meet people.

Parking: there are alot of cars getting towed because of parking mishaps and people in faculty spaces.

Campus Housing: living on campus is very exciting for the simple fact that everyone is getting to know each other and having fun especially your first year. i stayed in thigpen hall and it was very up kept and fun. to me thomas hall is the less kept dorm. palmer hall has never had air conditioning and hasn't had hot water for at least four weeks. the social atmosphere is very fun because all of the freshman's are out and about and having a great time.

Campus Quality: Alabama a & m university is overall an okay campus, the social scene is very active and fun at times, there's alot of activities for us throughout the year.most of the buildings are somewhat abandoned and very rundown its needs alot of maintenance. but our wellness center is very unique because it is new and has alot of different stations for college kids to stay fit and healthy. plus it has a bowling area, a swimming pool a free massage table on certain days and much more. campus life is for the most part is very decent.

Majors: I'm a Telecom Major/Graphic Design Minor. The school provides cameras and editing computers to help with any personal projects. They believe you learn better with your own projects than than what is assigned and they are willing to help you step by step. The best projects come from those who spend their spare time practicing editing and filming in the lab.

Overall Experience: Nothing Is Perfect – Although my school has its flaws, ultimaltely I have met some great people and received some awesome opputunities and experiences. College is a give and take experience you have to seek more in order to gain it.

Transportation: Runs frequently and at convenient stops the bus drivers are nice

3 College Senior

Weather: the weather is constantly changing. When it gets cold, it is very windy and too cold to walk to classes.

4 College Senior

Health & Safety: Our campus police are always there and always available. they usually try to get to work done and stop the violence.

Transportation: Buses on A&M are great to have since students cannot drive to the different buildings. We have to park in designated parking spaces and walk are ride buses to the buildings

Weather: It rains frequently. We sometimes have warnings for tornadoes. The weather changes drastically, in the middle of the summer it can be 50 degrees and 90 degree in the middle of the winter. Snow hits the ground in some days of the winter but its rarely enough to cancel classes or even enjoy.

Health & Safety: Mostly Safe – I have rarely felt unsafe on the campus of Alabama A & M University.Crimes rarely happen on campus, but campus police are always in eye sight just in case something unsafe is to transpire. Students are also always aware of anything or anyone that has been seen on campus that poses a threat to the safe environment.

Off-Campus Housing: Apartments Are Reasonable – You pay for what you get off campus. If you are looking to pay little to nothing for living expenses you will have a low quality living establishment. If you are willing to pay the price to live the high life you will definitely have an expensive mortgage but it will be worth the money.

The A&M experience is excellent! Students who have graduated from A&M often say that there is no place like "The Hill." Sure, students complain about the long financial aid lines, old buildings, and out-of-date resources, but when asked if they would do it all over again and still make A&M their first choice, many have said they would. A&M is truly a "home away from home." It's a great place for students to discover who they are and who they can become. Being a historically black college, A&M has so much history engraved in its roots. After attending A&M, students gain a greater appreciation for their heritage and for those who came before them. Also, out of all the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), A&M has one of the best food science programs. It is one of the only HBCU's that has an accredited program. Most of the students who graduate from A&M with a food science degree are employed and working for major companies like Coca-Cola.

A&M is a great school to attend. Lifelong friendships and connections are made on this campus. Students at A&M are more than classmates—they're family. They encourage and support each other throughout their academic journey.
