Athletics: The athletics department of the school is very nice and improves itself when going into the wellness center and with all the open fields throughout and around the school .

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: This school has it ups and downs with the curriculum and with the financial aid process , but makes up for it with even worse registering and hidden fees.

4 College Freshman

Greek Life: It is a big part of the student body besides sports.

Athletics: The athletic department is currently under investigation by the NCAA for falsifying grades for student athletes. All sports will be serving a one year postseason ban, although it's not like they were going to make the postseason anyway.

Health & Safety: I had a roommate who was sexually assaulted at a party. The party wasn't in campus but it was held by our Greeks.

Overall Experience: My courses are great. The teachers seem to care about us, they help us during office hours and sometimes even outside of office hours.

Overall Experience: AAMU is okay for the most part. The price I am paying for housing and board is not worth the food and housing I am receiving, however.

Health & Safety: This is a safe school to attend. I personally haven't had any problems with my safety on campus. I feel perfectly safe if i had to walk across campus at night. We have many officers here to protect us should anything go wrong.

Overall Experience: My experience at this school so far has been decent. I believe the quality of the courses and professors are just as good as bigger school. There is a good variety of courses offered, just about anything you want to do, you can do that here. The class sizes are relatively small compared to larger schools, i see that as a good thing.

Overall Experience: Getting a degree from this school seems very promising, at least in the engineering department. There have been several career fairs that i've attended in my two years here. I am currently going through background checks for a summer internship and a cooperative education program. Anyone can be successful at this school but you have to go out a get what you want, jobs and internships won't just fall on you lap.

Greek Life: I don't have that much experience with greek life, it's never really interested me. some of my friends are part of fraternities and they seem to be enjoying themselves, but they always say "it wasn't easy to cross" or something of that sort.

Athletics: The athletics department is pretty decent at my school. I was on the football team for two years and those were some of the best people to be around. Although homecoming is a big deal, most of the other games didn't have a huge turnout with fan support. Our facilities for athletics isn't the best but it gets the job done.

Overall Experience: I enjoy my professors and they enjoy me as a student. Not using your cell phone and being a respectful, honest person is the easiest way to gain a professor's respect in my generation.

The A&M experience is excellent! Students who have graduated from A&M often say that there is no place like "The Hill." Sure, students complain about the long financial aid lines, old buildings, and out-of-date resources, but when asked if they would do it all over again and still make A&M their first choice, many have said they would. A&M is truly a "home away from home." It's a great place for students to discover who they are and who they can become. Being a historically black college, A&M has so much history engraved in its roots. After attending A&M, students gain a greater appreciation for their heritage and for those who came before them. Also, out of all the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), A&M has one of the best food science programs. It is one of the only HBCU's that has an accredited program. Most of the students who graduate from A&M with a food science degree are employed and working for major companies like Coca-Cola.

A&M is a great school to attend. Lifelong friendships and connections are made on this campus. Students at A&M are more than classmates—they're family. They encourage and support each other throughout their academic journey.
