Party Scene: there arent much parties on campus, they're all off campus and you need a car or taxi to get there

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: I actually want to join a fraternity after I transfer. It seems very cool and a very great way to meet people.

Campus Housing: I don't live on campus but the times I have visited, the people who lived in those forms were pretty cool. When it comes to their amenities it's very simple; there are none. They don't have stoves, can't have microwaves, the gym is ALL the way ACROSS campus.

3 College Freshman

Administration: Campus security just wants to be taken seriously. Thru are extremely strict on visitation past midnight. Also if you don't have a parking decal your car will be towed.

Scholarships: Financial aid took great care of me. If it's one thing o do like about this school it would have to be that I experienced no trouble with it.

3 College Freshman

Majors: I haven't had my first internship yet but with the few companies I did talk to it does look like something I can see myself doing to help me prepare for my field.

Off-Campus Dining: It's all the same chicken joints all around town from Bojangles to Chick-Fil-A.

2 College Freshman

Local Area: For me coming from the big city of Detroit is very boring for me and can get lonely at times.

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: It's usually the same music, dances, and people. Pretty repetitive to say the least.

3 College Freshman

Academics: I haven't truly been challenged in my opinion.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I have visited a few times. It does look nice but it does have it's rules and regulations, some which are more strict than a regular apartment.

2 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: You run into a lot of bad attitudes when dining off campus. I stop going to the places near campus because you are guaranteed to get your order back wrong and receive an attitude when you ask them to fix it.

Campus Housing: Social wise I have met some life long and life changing people. Experienced a lot of great memories and experienced a good deal of bad experiences that taught me valuable lesson. Living on campus is very convenient because your close to all the events that goes on and it's a 5 minute walk to every class or less.

Athletics: As a student-athlete, I wonder want more from my school like equipment and gear but have a really low budge for our programs.

3 College Sophomore

Party Scene: When I go to parties I have fun no matter what but I wish our school had a college town like had near bars, clubs restaurants, caf├ęs, stores etc.

Overall ExperienceWhat's this?

The A&M experience is excellent! Students who have graduated from A&M often say that there is no place like "The Hill." Sure, students complain about the long financial aid lines, old buildings, and out-of-date resources, but when asked if they would do it all over again and still make A&M their first choice, many have said they would. A&M is truly a "home away from home." It's a great place for students to discover who they are and who they can become. Being a historically black college, A&M has so much history engraved in its roots. After attending A&M, students gain a greater appreciation for their heritage and for those who came before them. Also, out of all the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), A&M has one of the best food science programs. It is one of the only HBCU's that has an accredited program. Most of the students who graduate from A&M with a food science degree are employed and working for major companies like Coca-Cola.

A&M is a great school to attend. Lifelong friendships and connections are made on this campus. Students at A&M are more than classmates—they're family. They encourage and support each other throughout their academic journey.
