Athletics: The student involvement varies on the opponent that we play. School spirit, fan support is BARELY there.

3 College Freshman

Technology: Having access to computer labs 24/7 come in handy on your "long days." The WIFI, network reliability, and speed is horrible. It's best that you have your own computer.

3 College Freshman

Diversity: The diversity is fair. AAMU is an HBCU so you will mostly see African-American.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Its your regular McDonalds, BK, Subway, & etc. Not a lot of variety unless you drive a little further out.

3 College Freshman

Drug Safety: Since you can smoke tobacco on campus it is fairly noticeable of the drug/ alcohol scene.

Majors: I definitely plan on doing internships

Campus Quality: we have the best engineering program in Alabama. we put out the best people in co-opts and interns every year our graduates are garneted to have a job by the time they graduate or before.

4 College Freshman

Campus Quality: student life is nice. we have a nice library that is in one of the dorms we have the wellness center that has a pool a gym weights dance rooms a track and basketball courts and a racket ball room. the dorms are always full of life you can visit rooms in your dooms have sleep overs or whatever you want.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: the food is mostly the same every week and almost every day I wish they could change it up and fix good food .food that we want

3 College Freshman

Parking: they make you pay even if you don't have a car and he spots fill up very quickly and when we have a game oh man there are no spots for the students really .

3 College Freshman

Diversity: I don't really know how diverse e really are but I know that we all don' see things the same way and we are not all sexual oriented the same.

2 College Freshman

Weather: one minute is cold and sunny then its hot and rainy then its windy and rainy the weather can never make up its mind and if you're walking up the hill to call and you don't have an umbrella and it starts raining and you just missed the bus but it was sunny when you left the room..well you're just outta luck

4 College Freshman

Transportation: The BTS will take you all around the hill if you get on the right one at the right time yes they can get crowded and we could use some more bus drivers but they come in A LOT on handy

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: we don't have too many greeks on the yard but you don't have join they throw the nicest parties through. its not a big deal at the school

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: the classes the people I have met my suit mates my teaches they make school and the transition from high school to college all the better

4 College Freshman

Academics: the program itself is amazing! the teachers are always there to help not to much work and my major and the teachers are willing to work with you say if you have a job or child they'll work around your schedule its great. the curriculum is hard but once you grasp it you have it and they just keep going over it and building on it. the internships are what I am waiting on. I have heard they are good and they more experience you have the better and A&M is this best school to go to get that.

3 College Freshman

Academics: at every school its going to be slow with registration but at first but it pays off get to know who's running what get to know the teachers. the teachers are nice and friendly they care about us and when they see us falling behind they try their hardest to not let us drop their class. workload depends on how many hours you take but still its not that much.

3 College Freshman

Local Area: not much to do but the locals are nice to the college kids the scenery is beautiful with the hills land when the seasons change

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: its okay close to the school and kinda big better then staying in the dorms

3 College Junior

Majors: I have no problems with my program

The A&M experience is excellent! Students who have graduated from A&M often say that there is no place like "The Hill." Sure, students complain about the long financial aid lines, old buildings, and out-of-date resources, but when asked if they would do it all over again and still make A&M their first choice, many have said they would. A&M is truly a "home away from home." It's a great place for students to discover who they are and who they can become. Being a historically black college, A&M has so much history engraved in its roots. After attending A&M, students gain a greater appreciation for their heritage and for those who came before them. Also, out of all the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), A&M has one of the best food science programs. It is one of the only HBCU's that has an accredited program. Most of the students who graduate from A&M with a food science degree are employed and working for major companies like Coca-Cola.

A&M is a great school to attend. Lifelong friendships and connections are made on this campus. Students at A&M are more than classmates—they're family. They encourage and support each other throughout their academic journey.
