3 College Senior

Academic Experience: About average, nothing special. This college is the lower middle management of community colleges, never ruffled any feathers, kept its head down, but never really made a lasting impression on anyone.

3 College Senior

Online Courses: About average, but the instructors are so hard to get a hold of, if they don't have a reason to interact with you, they typically won't and when they do it takes days to get responses from them.

2 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: They aren't willing to allow us to skip introductory courses, for instance, I had a year of chemistry, a half year of organic chemistry, a year of physics, but I couldn't skip the introductory biology class without testing out.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: Class sizes are small and there is lots of student/instructor interaction in the courses I've taken, but I've only taken higher level courses that require lots of prerequisites and that's generally a result of the prereq's. Other than that, everything is about average.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: I don't really know, most students transfer, but my stepfather had a job before he finished school there.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: The hours and availability of most campus services are great going from around 6 AM to 10 PM, but certain services, such as the kitchen could use some more hours.

2 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The Financial Aid people need to get their game together, it's hard if not impossible to reach someone. I know that Financial Aid offices are busy, but these guys are terrible. The process for obtaining student loans is vague and difficult to navigate, often it isn't even discussed with students.

3 College Senior

Career Services: I don't know much about the career services, most of the people I know and I myself are planing on transferring.

4 College Senior

Student Body: The student body is fairly open minded, there are some individuals who are not, but over all they are quite accepting.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: It's easy to choose classes at my own available times.

Student Body: The students at AIMS are highly motivated, whether it be studying or participating in a club. The atmosphere in the student center is very encouraging. Students are quick to spot out new students and welcome them to the school. There is truly every walk of life in the school and seems to be no bias towards any diversity within the school.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: The overall experience has been great so far. The AIMS website was great with everything that was needed to be done as a new student. It had step by step instructions of what needed to be done and the order of which to do so. The classes were very easy to enroll in and had many different times and teachers to choose from.

Tuition & Financial Aid: As stated before, I had a bit of a rough time with financial aid. When I would turn in a paper to the office, they would send me another one to fill out and this occurred three times. It would be much easier if they were to do everything in a one-step process. Also, I personally have been waiting to hear the results of my financial aid, I was told two weeks and it has been well over a month and still have not received anything.

Campus Quality: The school offers a great support system for veterans! Although I am not a veteran, my father was in the Air Force for 20 years and I was moved around a lot when I was growing up. My husband is currently an active duty member of the Air Force and am living in Colorado due to his stationing. AIMS has an advisor that specially adhears to veterans and dependents and even has a club dedicated to veterans.

Campus Resources: AIMS has many clubs and activities scheduled monthly. They offer workshops to help further your studying skills or computer skills. The library is well stocked with books and computers, but also librarians that are knowledgeable about their specific resources. The main student center is always busy, but in a good way, the students are very welcoming to new students and its a great atmosphere during breaks!

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I truly enjoy being in the criminal justice career field. The school offers so many classes to take and help you to get prepared to transfer to another school.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The school is great, they offer many different majors and offer general classes also. After taking a placement test, they offered me to join a program called TRIO; this program is great and has advisors that actually care about you and will try to get you motivated and supportive throughout the semester. All the professors seem very friendly and knowledgeable of their subjects and seem to be very interested in both the studies and programs.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I like online classes because they allow me to work while going to school. The only thing that hinders me is the lack of motivation I have to go online everyday to do homework and there isn't much babysitting going on in online classes. Although the professors are always there to answer questions, they aren't there to make sure you're understanding the material or making sure that you do all of the assignments.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I had a difficult time filling out my FAFSA and each time I turned in a paper to the financial office they sent me home with another paper to fill out and return. This happened three times in a row. I feel like this was unnecessary and could have been done a bit more reasonably.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: Great learning center, we have a gym,and many clubs

5 College Senior

5 College Senior

5 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: They have really worked hard with me.

5 College Senior

Campus Quality: Im older and aims has been wonderful to attend.

4 College Sophomore
