Campus Resources: I think more funds could be put into the library and what books you can check out. I have actually used the Denver Public Library to find some of my books. The Main campus is nice, plus there is plenty of organizations that one can join.

Academic Experience: There have been some classes that I just loved! I wish that they had more history and gen ed classes online. This semester I have to go to two different campuses to take required classes. Some of the curriculum has been way too liberal in opinion rather than in fact, not all books but some. I really don't want to know why the author of some book hates George W. Bush.
I don't like that the summer class schedule isn't out. It is hard to plan for classes.
The tutors do a good job in helping in their fields.

Campus Resources: The teachers at Aims have made the biggest difference for me. When my son and husband were hospitalized a day apart out of state. It was the teachers that helped me get through the trauma and continue my education. But the financial aid office and the main advising office, I didn't feel like they really cared if Chuck, my husband and I graduated. When Chuck started college full-time due to his car accident and not being able to continue in his field of work, I don't think Aims helped us as much as they could have. There were too many audits and extra phone calls. But the teachers really have made the difference.

Campus Resources: Computer Labs – the hours are very dependable. most printing is free in black and white.

Academic Flexibility: Leaving or Being Late to Class – if you know you are going to be late or need to leave early for some reason, most of the teacher will work with you as long as you let them know what is going on. special with children who had afters school thing or teacher conferences they were pretty good with working with you as long as you let them know a head of time but they also understand that life happen. most of my credits transferred.

Campus Resources: Class Sizes – The classes are smaller so you have so much more interaction with you teachers one on one.

2 College Student

Campus Resources: Student Center – I have had to gather a few supplies for me classes, however there is always one thing that I have needed, and they have been out of it every time I visit. I have filled out a request order, and they told me that they would call me when they have it in, and they never did.

Academic Flexibility: Kinda Frustrating – In order to become enrolled in the CNA class, I had to provide a lot of information, more so than I have needed for any of the others classes I have taken here. There were also a lot of steps that the school didn't provide to me before hand that I didn't know I would need to take until after orientation. It would have been nice if their website was a little more informative.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The Financial Aid that I recieve is absolutely amazing. Some of the people that work in the office are a little rude but the aid itself is very good.

Student Body: Diversity Is What Makes the Best Learning Environment – The Student Body at my school is excellent. They are not all geniuses or incredibly good at sports. It is a very diverse group of people and they are all friendly. There is no popularity contest or the "In-Crowd". I formed a study group in one of my psycology classes last semester. In our group, there was a high school senior testing the college waters, a single mother trying to better her life for her and her daughter, a 55 year old who decided to get an education after her kids were all grown, a guy that just got out of the army and hadn't decided on what career path to follow, and me. A 31 year old, disabled mother of 5 children and finally have my life together enough to finish school. We all were able to learn from each other's experiences and excel in our class.

Campus Resources: I Love My School's Computer Network! The available computer network on my campus is excellent. There are always computers available to work on with internet connection. Printing costs only 5 cents. I was easily connected to a wireless connection on campus with my laptop. I did not have to enter in all kinds of "Crazy" information to log on. The speed of their network does not slow down when I am connected wirelessly or when a lot of people are logged on. They also offer a lot of e- materials that I can download to my android tablet. I don't know of anything else I could request from them.

Overall Experience: My College Wants Me to Succeed – My school offers a lot of opportunities to help students succeed. It has tutors, supportive clubs, ways to earn money to help you through, and the teachers genuinely care whether or not you succeed. Any one of the staff members will help you in any way that you ask them and if they aren't able to help, they will find the person that can help you.

Campus Resources: I really like the newer Student Center. It's beautifully built and each department within is easily accessable. There's a nice gym in the older building and there are some really neat study rooms in each of the buildings on the main Greeley, CO campus. The only thing I don't like is the fact there's never enough parking.

Academic Experience: Nice taught me how to become a better college student

Student Body: One thing about Aims is that we have a huge variety of diversity in our school. From Muslims to Christians there are many different religious views but we all respect each other. There is a huge variety in age with students. Some students are still in high school while others are almost 70 years old! We all love and respect each other and understand that people have certain circumstances to be at Aims, but that's why we are unique.

Academic Experience: The Art Department – Right now i am working on my AA and I am focusing mainly on ceramics. I also work in the ceramics lab so I'm always there. My professor is also my boss and she is amazing. I can't even imagine how she can manage every thing she does for the school. Everyone in the art department is really close and we all have a good time but we work really hard to achieve our goals. I personally love the art department and all of the people in it.

Campus Resources: Aims is a great place for people that do not fit the typical college student type. Classes are very small and one receives a lot of one on one interaction with the professors. Aims offers schooling for people who may have other obligations in life such as jobs and children. Classes can be found at all times in the day and they offer a wide variety of classes in the evening. Aims always has clubs and programs that students can join to benefit others in the community and because are school is so small the groups really do reach out to everyone. They offer things to do with the students children like kid movies or activities, and they help people who might be struggling with money by having clothes drives and food drives. Since i have a child myself i have felt very privileged to attend a school that actually cares about that.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: Workload is very intensive and time consuming, but not any more than is really needed to learn the information provided.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Friendly Staff – My education here was only made possible by friendly and knowledgable staff.

1 College Senior

Online Courses: I do NOT like online courses. When I started my ECE certificate, the ONLY classes offered were online. I knew it wouldn't be a good match for me & it wasn't. 2/3 of my online classes I had to re-take because my grades were below the required "C" for passing.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Aims has reduced the amount of hours that the library and computer labs are available. Many students still need evening & weekend availability for these & instead of remaining the same or increasing, they have reduced the availability.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: Early Childhood – When I started on my certificate for Early Childhood, the state of Colorado had increased their education requirements for group leader qualified teachers for childcare. The community colleges did not increase the availability of these classes along w/the new state rules. It took me a lot longer to complete my certificate than it should have because availability of classes. I intend to complete a 2nd certificate in Early Childhood & hope that it is not at difficult to find available classes that are NOT online. The teachers on the subject are good and very experienced.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: They are very friendly, at times unfair and don't follow their own rules

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: Financial aid was not too helpful, had to learn myself.

2 College Junior

Online Courses: Limited Availability – Even with distance learning, there is limited space available, which is frustrating when trying to balance school, work, and family.
