This is not the first college I have attended. It is the first technical college for me. Comparing the two schools would be like comparing apples and oranges. Aiken Tech is a very professional school, a great stepping stone school for anyone who is not ready for a major university straight out of high school.

Aiken Technical College is the first I have seen that has an active fraternity, that has members who are willing to be proud of their involvement. It also provides a chance for students to be involved with a sports team. Although, it is not as diverse as a four year university, it still provides an array of opportunities for students to become involved within the school. The personal relationship each faculty member tries to reach with every student is astounding. This is probably one of the biggest differentiating factors it holds against any other college or university I have been to or seen.

When working with the campus employees while enrolling they where very helpful with the paperwork and explaining how everything worked at the school.
