Campus Quality: My school has a friendly and cozy atmosphere. The classes are challenging and the Professors are really nice and helpful. They really make an afford to get to know you and help you understand the material. The campus is beautiful and is hosting wedding almost every weekend.

3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Although the student body doesn't include male students beyond post baccs, the student population is very diverse in terms of gender identity and lifestyle choices.

Overall Experience: Deciding to go to Agnes was the best decision I have ever made. After three years, I am just as in love with it as I was when I first came here.

Health & Safety: Campus always feels safe, public safety is always available to help you if you need it, and campus crime is virtually nonexistent.

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: As far as first-year dorms are concerned, Walters is definitely the better one of the two. For upperclasswomen, Main and Rebekah's rooms are all very spacious, but it is important to keep in mind that they only have central heating, and no air conditioning. All the rest of the residence halls (and apartments off campus) have A/C, though.

3 College Junior

Athletics: I've not heard that much about the athletics in the three years that I've been here. The people that show up to games are always very supportive, but I've never seen that many people show up.

3 College Junior

Weather: Georgia weather is very temperamental, so be prepared with clothing for both warm and cold weather.

Agnes Scott is a liberal arts school with a small professor-to-student ratio, with rigorous academics and a thriving club life. The professors are all passionate about the subjects they teach and have had some experience in their fields, too. For the most part, they bring their all to each class. Not only are the professors intelligent and passionate, but they are also personable. There are few professors who are difficult to speak with about problems, anxieties, or comments about a class. The same can be said for all of the faculty and staff at Agnes. Everyone is committed to allowing students to learn and grow. The small community helps everything be personal.

Agnes helps to shape students into well-rounded individuals with the skills to enter a career. In order to get the full Agnes experience, it's important to put yourself out there. Many skills can't be acquired without reaching out to the College's offices or clubs/organizations. However, the most important thing any prospective student should remember about Agnes when making her big decision is that Agnes is a small, private, women's liberal arts college. All of these factors are important to consider because they will determine the experience you have. All in all, the Agnes experience is a wonderful one, but students should be aware that this experience is only obtained if they actively engage in the community around them.
