Party Scene: Being a small town there is not a whole lot to do but when there is something to do it is always fun. Athletics really keep students engaged and having something to watch and do.

Athletics: small town rallies around football

Campus Housing: not bad for the age of the school

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: the cost for my program is one of the most affordable and the community is very supportive to college students

5 College Junior

Parking: read the signs and you're good

3 College Junior

Campus Food: ok but would like more late night options

3 College Junior

Transportation: both airport and bus stop near school

3 College Junior

Weather: the cold winter winds usually keep people indoors more

5 College Freshman

Technology: I have my own laptop because I'm too busy to go to computer labs. But every time I have gone to one, they are fantastic and very up to date and nice.

Weather: Apparently it gets very cold here in the winter. So far (mid november) its not too bad, but I haven't gone through a winter here yet.

Overall Experience: Its different for everyone. Myself being a theatre major, choosing the right school is KEY. But for someone like a math major, its just perfectly suitable.

4 College Freshman

Campus Quality: Its an very old school, but considering this, they have done a lot to keep it in good maintenance.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: I could use more money, but I have been decently given scholarships.

Local Area: I'm in theater, so there is always something for me to do. But as far as finding fun outside campus, you have to be creative.

5 College Freshman

Party Scene: I like that there aren't raging ignorant parties every night. Its decently quiet enviornment

5 College Freshman

Diversity: Everyone is very different, but also extremely accepting of others values

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Faculty are top-notch and the environment is great. I wish we had a little more guidance on internship placements, but otherwise I've been really happy.

Campus Food: Dining services provides some options and the food is pretty good. Most meal options are very carb-heavy, but the salad bar is extensive. Quite a few fast food and local restaurants within walking or short driving distance from campus.

Parking: Parking on campus can be a pain only because of current campus construction. Otherwise, it's fine.

Drug Safety: You really don't see a lot of drug usage on campus. Most people like to drink and that's really only on weekends.

Technology: As long as you live on campus, the computer labs are fairly close. There are two 24 hour computer labs and the computers and printers in each are pretty nice. Also, you get credit for printing that is part of what you pay in tuition and it's a good amount. I have never reached my printing limit as there is quite enough each semester. Reliability is good too because you can save stuff to what they call an x drive and even if the computer crashes it is backed up and can be restored. Plus the computers are all pretty fast. Laptops on the other hand can be slower with how many users are on the wifi all at once.

Transportation: There is not much to do in town. All the hiking, skiing, sand dunes, etc are all 20 minutes away or more. Plus any other things like mall shopping are a two hour or more drive depending on which city you want to go to.

Weather: If you like cold and wind most of the school year then this is a great place for you. Otherwise research other schools. Although, the outdoor activities are almost endless, the cold and wind can sometimes be discouraging.
