Campus Resources: Depending on your major you may have computer labs available to you. For the price we pay, they should be available for everyone.

3 College Senior

Campus Quality: There is no sense of community. The school is spread out throughout San Francisco. If you don't live in the dorms, you won't know many people outside of your major.

2 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The curriculum feels very repetitive. Within the first two years, you've learned almost all you need to know.

2 College Senior

Online Courses: Our online system needs to be restructured ASAP. I have never had an enjoyable online experience. If you're headed to this school, I recommend you take on campus courses.

3 College Freshman

Career Services: This helped me be prepared for my future job that I will be looking for.

3 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: Wish I could have got more to cover the cost of the school.

3 College Student

Overall Experience: I enjoy this school, it's not perfect but nothing is.

4 College Student

Online Courses: I love online courses because my work schedule is not consistent so traditional classrooms would not work for me

4 College Student

Campus Quality: They have set up there own online learning system that is easy to follow and use

4 College Student

Academic Experience: The online set up is wonderful and the workload is reasonable.

3 College Student

Academic Experience: They have all kinds of resources but I haven't been able to get into contact with the student help department.

3 College Student

Academic Flexibility: I'm able to go completely online from another state and work on whatever days/times work for me within the set week

3 College Student

Tuition & Financial Aid: They have helped send me to loan and scholarship websites.

4 College Senior

Career Services: The school has a lot of great connections and opportunities for students before they even graduate.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I dont feel a lot of support from the financial aid office.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: I've had a great experience so far. I havent run into any problems.

4 College Sophomore

Career Services: They work with a lot of studios and working professionals to help upper division students get real world experience and make connections before they even graduate.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Unlike most other film majors in similar 4 year universities, you are out shooting films very early on. You get your hands on quality equipment and are giving instruction on using it right away, a big plus.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: One great thing they do is have regular workshops that anyone in the entire school can attend, so it's an opportunity to go work on film cameras and help teach it to students outside the film department, helping you learn more.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: They do a good job of transferring almost any type of credit, I had a few that were for a previous major, and they would have taken them, but they were useless for the degree I was pursuing. My fault, not theirs.

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I've had limited experience with the online courses at AAU, but even that little was a positive one. Sure, with some film production classes, operating online can be difficult, but otherwise they do a great job of integrating the system.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The best area to talk about are the computer labs and equipment rooms, basically, if you are there to make a short film (I am in film) they have every kind of camera or equipment you need to shoot, and a myriad of computers and software to conduct post production. All around a well provided for resource.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: There is a single wifi service for each of the buildings, and it is thankfully operating on the same dns address and with the same login info, so when you go from building to building you don't have to change anything. Sometimes the connections can be spotty, but that's more because the buildings are typical san francisco style large blocks of concrete.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: As is typical of most universities, the quality of the student body greatly increases once you get out of the freshmen year. Most are enthusiastic when it comes to helping on school projects and other activities.
