Overall Experience: The ones who graduate excel in their feilds. Just as Yoda said,"Do or do not, there is no try". That is very true at this school.

Academic Experience: This is the only school with a knitwear program and it's one of the heaviest workloads imaginable, but it's so fun at the same time.

3 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: The great side: the teachers and students are amazing. The down side: the administration (higher ups/president) only care about getting profit.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: Hit and miss in most aspects. Class size usually good. Instructors either really good or really bad.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: Value of degree yet to be determined. Internships and networking opportunities have come mostly from joining outside associations and organizations.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: Facilities-mix of really good and really bad. Nothing done to these buildings, but new ones always being bought for the school.

4 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: The flexibility is great. I can work around my own personal time and have a consistent routine with my workload being due at one specific time on the same day each week.

4 College Freshman

Online Courses: It's very straightforward. The workload is very doable, the registration is easy and the technology and "portals" they use to access classes as well as grades and other information regarding your major are there and very clearly described.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I have had some very tough and very straightforward professors and their expectations for the courses. They expect the best of your ability from you and plan to make you into the best professional you can be. The classes usually range from 12-20 people, which is nice, it's not too busy or obnoxious and you get more time to speak with your professor.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: It's an in-depth explanation of knowledge to help you become well tuned in your field.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The classes are challenging and developing me as a well rounded artist.

4 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: I have actually had very understanding professors who are eager to help me be successful and to learn. If a problem happens they help me fix it.

4 College Freshman

Online Courses: It is definitely different from an actual school environment in some ways, but the fact that most teachers require you to examine and comment on other students work ensures active involvement with other students just in a more technological fashion. Considering today's world revolves around social media to interact it's actually quite normal.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: All of my professors thus far have been very knowledgeable and are professionally involved in the film industry.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Being that this school revolves entirely around people involved in the film and art industry, I believe with the right motivation and guidance students would end up getting work successfully.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: I am an online student and this fits into my schedule the way I need it to which is by far the best I can get!

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I have had some difficulties with the school... aside from the technical issues and the money aspect though the education is core and great for what I'm pursuing. I would have to say that you have to work hard for any educational degree you pursue and this school is not an exception. I am an A student and while I was originally intimidated by the reviews of the university I am very glad I chose to attend.

4 College Student

Academic Flexibility: I haven't had any hassles with anything so far. My credits were transferred easily. All I had to do was provide transcripts from my other schools.

4 College Student

Online Courses: I love not having to commute to a school every day; as I work full time and I have a child to take care of. Online classes have allowed me to earn my degree at home, which saves a lot of time. The only downfall with online classes is that you can't meet or interact with your professors and peers in person.

4 College Student

Overall Experience: The professors are very qualified. They know all of the class material very well. The size of the classes are small enough that the professor can give each of us a good amount of attention.

4 College Student

Overall Experience: I am an online student, so I don't know how it works on campus, but I am positive that once I get farther along in my program, many doors will open up for me careerwise.

4 College Student

Academic Experience: I am still in my first semester, so I can't really say much about unique aspects of my program or job opportunities, but the workload and curriculum are manageable enough with my already busy schedule.

4 College Student

Overall Experience: I chose the Academy of Art University beacause it was the only school in the U.S. that I could find that offered a bachelor dergree in Architecture completely online. I have been very impressed with the school so far; the admissions officer and financial aid people have been with me through every step of enrollment. My teachers are very knowledgeable and helpful when I ask questions. So far, it has been a great experience.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: My credits were from over 15 years ago and weren't able to be transferred.
