Online Courses: deadline for assignments should be extended

4 College Junior

Student Body: online the students somewhat are friendly

Tuition & Financial Aid: just need to be quick about refud disburstments

Academic Flexibility: My credits didn't transfer because the school is so set on their curriculum that no other credits from other schools are good enough. It's another way to get more money out of you. It really sucks. If you come here, make it your first choice and stick with it.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: This school really cares about art and the staff are all working professionals outside of school. You can learn so much.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: There could be better tact when it comes to meeting students disability needs. Some classes are too crowded because of the small rooms of old buildings.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: We have internships all year round and study abroad opportunities.

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: Nothing too difficult, markers that let you know what you've read/watched/commented on. There is teacher feedback on everything.

College Sophomore

Student Body: I don't think we have a student body.

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is way too expensive, especially considering the terrible school shuttle service, the old buildings that include no elevators and/or good air ventilation and how early the buildings close each night. Plus, dorming is extremely expensive beyond what it could be, but the school buys up most of the real estate and sucks the change from our pockets. We have to move out of the dorms during winter break even if we're continuing students, and if not, we have to pay per night as if we were in a 5-star hotel. We pay for cleaning services and the workers don't even properly clean what they're supposed to.

Career Services: Since AAU is one of the most academically demanding university, businesses and corporations are always eager to find new employees to hire from us.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The work is very demanding but the curriculum is set at a professional level so that the transition from college to career isn't something the students aren't familiar with. The work load is time consuming and you definitely need to spend the recommended hours working on each project (but usually more for better results). Attendance is strict.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: There are so many majors offered at the Academy and the Academic Advisors are extremely helpful in organizing schedules for you. Class registration is good, the site could be a little easier to navigate, though.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: We have unlimited resources and an entire building dedicated to it. There are always online and on-campus workshops and tutoring and you can apply for them or walk in!

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: It is incredibly flexible because it is all online and I can move at my own pace.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I am new to the program but so far have been very satisfied. I have greatly appreciated the opportunity of attending an accredited art program online- keeping me from having to relocate and allowing me the flexibility of staying at my job.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Overall experience varies depending on the professor. Some way into it, some not. Some have a syllabus, some not. Some teach, some don't. When they're into it, it's awesome and I've learned a lot.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Many classes have an additional fee tacked on, usually a few hundred dollars and given some vague name like "design fee". Tuition is expensive, not sure what these extra fees actually cover that the tuition fees couldn't/wouldn't.

3 College Student

Academic Flexibility: there is not much choice of classes as they are telling you what you need to take to start out with. Also was not so happy that they are telling you that you can only start out with 6 credits in stet of 12.
