4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Being online definitely has perks in going around work and children's schedules.

4 College Senior

Online Courses: The online system was just upgraded; I haven't tried it yet, but have heard from others that it's fantastic.

4 College Senior

Career Services: I have a positive outlook on getting the job I want after graduation; my director already knows of my plans and seems very pleased with them; it's a matter of keeping things forward.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: My reasoning for the rating is due to the sometimes delays in grading or getting feedback.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: I'm an online only student, so answering on campus life isn't possible. Via email my Director of my program and advisor are amazing - absolutely love them!

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: The history classes are really great; the professors I've had so far are fantastic.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: I've loved majority of my classes so far; the professors have been amazing and awesome to work with; it's the cost of the classes and now raising the cost of the unit that is making things very difficult as a single parent. As crazy as this sounds, if it was more affordable, or had more scholarships via the school or something to make it more affordable for the student to stay it would be amazing.

Academic Experience: The Fine Arts program is in fact the hardest major at the school. You have to know how to do everything, there is no focus on just graphics and technology like the other majors; you will not be a one trick pony if you are a Fine Arts major. The workload is intense, but if you love what you do, it won't feel at all like work. There are lots of internships and career opportunities that can be applied for with the schools' Job Board portal; very helpful tool. I think it is overall exciting to see where I was when I started and where I can be in the end.

Overall Experience: Even though this school is extremely expensive, the education and environment is like no other. It is also refreshing to attend a college where you jump right into your major without having to pay for and take uneccessary courses that have nothing to do with your major. I came into this school with my own skills and talents of course, but each class I have taken has taught me so much and made me a much better artist than I was before.

5 College Junior

More good times to come!

Overall Experience: Julia Grinkrug is a GEM. I appreciate her background in European history, and her creativity. Jon Dalton is a solid pro, obsessed with his craft. Humanistic, kind, and intelligent profs. Could not ask for more. Gratitude I had the help of Alyssa for 6 months before enrolling. She really encouraged me to jump in, and swim. I love that spunk! Everyone at AAU has spunk. Never expected such enthusiasm in education, but it is an ART school. Lucky us!

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: Transitioning from architecture to landscape architecture. The degree is essential for furthering career, and standing out in the field of urban design.

The demand for landscape architecture, and urban design has never been greater. Looking forward to working as intern in the field locally, and making a mark in my community, such as Golden Gate Park.

Sincerely, Mary Green

Academic Experience: High ROI. Just submitted a review. Did you receive?

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: Professional education. Articulate, appreciative, accelerated, accepting. I give AAU an A+ in all categories of service.

The investment of time is moderate with an exceptional return. I enjoy the online experience. The students are diverse, and passionate about art. Perfect balance with busy lives, geography, and demographics.

This is a great model for education. I put four grown children through the UC System. They are all artists, and no art classes were taken, as electives in their academic degrees. Huh?

As their mom, encouraging art all their lives, I encourage them to pursue your online programs for balance in their adult lives. Essential. Like spinach.

I can't say enough good things about AAU.

Cheers, Mary Green

Overall Experience: The motion pictures degree that i am enrolled for is a very competitive job that you going after when it comes to getting that career job everybody is going for that same which makes me more focused and determined at accomplishing my goal

4 College Student

Academic Experience: The major that i'm taking which is motion pictures which the work load is a lot but when it comes to learning the materials the professors do a excellent job at teaching the material to you when it comes to interships as long as you study hard and stay focused you will do great everybody wants you to succeed

5 College Student

Overall Experience: The experience so far has been awsome the my advisor has caring and helpful when it comes to seeing how you are doing in yout classes and what make the school unique is that if you show that you really are motivated and you really want to learn the help will come wether its with your acadmic avisor or professor they will help you succeed and help you discover your creativity i am very happy that i choose this school because the school helped me stay on track with my school work and it helped me realize if you work hard and stay motivated you can accomplish anything you set your mind on

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: It's a teacher-to-teacher case, some are understanding of schedule issues which is great. Some do not budge and mark down for missing classes even in life-or-death situations just to prove a point--which is ridiculous.

3 College Junior

Career Services: The portfolio process for transferring is tedious and unneccessary. Half of it is menial quizes that you can google so they prove no purpose .

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: This is just my 3rd semester as an architecture student so I can't say much. So far it's amazing.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I chose this school because it ignited that spark and confirmed the reason why I wanted to go into that certain major. I wish I found this school the first time I picked a university because it's everything I've ever looked for in an institution. Caring and helpful staff and faculty, dedication and focus on that specific area of study and more, and just being around students who are just as passionate/creative just like you.

3 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: They are difficult about getting my transcripts transferred over from my previous schools. Also, they don't let us transfer credits so thats kind of stupid. Seems like they only care about money
