3 College Senior

Academic Experience: Space and equipment may be at a premium but the chef-instructors do a great job of teaching new skills and using groups when necessary to allow everyone the opportunity to work a certain skills. I would recommend the culinary arts program.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: I feel that the instructors, work load, and general curriculum are well suited for the community college environment and the diverse population it serves.

College Senior

Career Services: I am unfamiliar with the school's post graduate and career services efforts.

3 College Senior

Student Body: The student body ranges from 17-80 and you get what you'd expect. Some working hard toward their futures and other placating parents but wasting their time and money at YCCC.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I have had nothing but great experiences with applying for and receiving financial aid through YCCC.

3 College Senior

Online Courses: Some online courses provide more information and have greater expectations than others. I have had a great online class and a worthless one.

3 College Senior

Facilities: I don't spend much time on campus and cannot speak for social activities or campus life though everyone seems to enjoy themselves and I see that students events are common.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: There is a library and computer labs but little else as it is a one building community college (soon to be expanding).

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: There are enough computers and printers for students and I have never had a problem.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: It can be difficult to schedule classes around a full-time job but the school does an adequate job of providing scheduling options for its size.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: My first Online class was great, now I'm taking another and I'm finding it hard to connect with the teacher.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I found it very easy to gain access to the classes I needed and to transfer credits from classes I took previously.

4 College Junior

Student Body: I love the diversity of the students, all ages, races, and a nice mix of genders in the class rooms.

3 College Junior

Facilities: Small school, nothing great but good for the size.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Great for a college. Could be less.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Good amount of classes that I have interests in. Same classes needed at other colleges in Maine for transfer purposes.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Learned more in one semester in college then four years in high school.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: No athletics. Very nice library and good amount of computers in lab.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: Always enough available. Assistance to guide you in the lab is available also.

4 College Junior

Student Body: Very nice students mainly there to focus on education.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Very well informative classes that are flexible and affordable.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Very lenient with classes fitting into my schedule.

2 College Senior

Campus Resources: The school is generally no-frills but there is a student lounge as well as a basketball hoop outside. Otherwise, the facilities aren't anything special.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I feel that the financial aid process was exceptionally easy at YCCC. I feel that the value I am receiving thus far is slightly below average but I may have too high of expectations for a Community College where ages in my classes range from 18-65 years old.

2 College Senior

Online Courses: I found the online courses to be easy to follow but there were issues. It would difficult to get a timely response from the instructor and I felt disconnected from the rest of the class. There were also times the portal would be down, taking away from the convenience of online classes.
