5 College Sophomore

Student Body: Our student body is amazing.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: There is a banner over the admissions office that says, "The best advertisement is a changed life." and this statement could not be any truer of the school. I can't say enough how much God used this place to change my life and the lives of the many friends I have made here. This place is a year out of your life, a year to forget yourself and really focus on God's word and dive deep into it. A lot of people have complained about the rules in the past, but the school recently reviewed the handbook and threw out any rules that could not be backed by the bible. It is a lot more relaxed this year, but there are still rules. The one thing I would remind anyone who is deterred by these rules is that even the school emphasises that these are not rules they are asking you to live your life by. It is only one year and the rules are there to help you focus on why you are there. The community at this school is amazing, many of the students are encouraging and Godly, and it is not hard to make friends here. The location is in the beautifully scenic Adirondack mountains right on a lake, I can promise you will be absolutely spoiled by the view. Before considering a second year at this school, know that this second year is for people who are seeking to seriously go into ministry. Remember that when making your decision about this school, praying is the key thing you need to be doing.

Facilities: Though this school may look good during campus days, all they are doing is putting on a show.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: campus resources are good. There is a variety of gym classes. Alot of people are into running here because their is space for that activity Theres also a very nice basketball court a dodge ball court two volleyball courts on both ends of campus and the computer lab is connected with the campus coffee shop which sits right next to the outdoor pool which is accompanied by a hot tub. The conference center is also like the students living room. This place becomes your home.

Academic Experience: This school is great. The professors will sit and have lunch with you because they care. their offices are always open to answering questions. and the y love to help you after class is over and enjoy discussions. the academic office is also very helpful and reliable. They will work with you if you are a struggling student, and grades are fair and well thought out.

Academic Experience: It's a bible study can't really go towards my major

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: There isn't really the best computer lab available, but the wireless access is very reliable.

Campus Resources: The facilities on campus are great. There is a gym, but it isn't like a state of the arch gym. There is a performing arts center that is great to be able to go into and practice different things. It is usually open and available to whoever needs to use it. I mainly enjoy spending time outside, because the campus is absolutely beautiful outside and is very well taken care of.

Academic Experience: I am a religious studies major, by attending Word of Life, I not only get the head knowledge that I need, but I also receive practice in my particular field. The studying loads can sometimes be difficult, but it is worth studying the Word of God.

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: The professors are completely committed to the topic they are teaching. They not only answer questions in the classroom, but they also are willing to answer questions outside the classroom. As a student body, we are very close knit, almost like a big family. My most favorite part about attending Word of Life Bible Institute is the practical aspect of it. They not only teach you how to do it, but show you practical ways to apply what you have been learning in the classroom.

Online Courses: This school is great. Discipleship is amazing and you learn alot. The staff is personal and caring.

Academic Experience: I'm a Bible major and the classes at Word of Life are amazing. I have learned so much this year about more than just the content of the Bible but also the history and context behind it. Word of Life sets it up so we have visiting professors from all over, including leaders of top missionary boards and college presidents. Most of the professors have doctorates and have a wide range of experience in the field. All of our assignments are pretty simple and from my own experience, have benefited me a lot in and outside the classroom. Also, Word of Life is unique in that along with classes, we participate in ministries on and off campus that really let us put into practice what we're learning. It's a lot to take in but its definitely not more than anyone can handle and its more than worth it. Professors are available to answer any questions as well as have lunch and discuss personal matters.

Career Services: Alot of Alumni really get involved in student life after they graduate. Such as internships, and student life. Most students go on to other christian universities or seminary schools and get jobs involved in christian service and ministry. Most alumni come back to work during the summer also. Most other christian schools look for graduates of word of life to come to their school because of the quality of person they are and education experience they recieved

Student Body: i love my school. The relationships between students and staff is great. The staff is always there for you and helps you with anything you need. Also the financial office is very helpful. The academic office is also great in helping you with your grades and offers tutoring. The people are kindhearted, genuine and caring. They are real and love to be involved in the students lives.

5 College Freshman

Campus Resources: This school gives you an opportunity to do everything you would need to live out in the real world. From things like working in the work force, to being a part of a team. Also it is almost impossible to be here and not have a social life with all of the group things that are taking place throughout the year.

3 College Freshman

Student Body: students here are social and treat you like family

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: The professors are open to talk to about questions you may have about class.
