4 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: You get variety to choose from and the cost is reasonable.

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: You can't walk to anywhere off campus. You probably ask for a ride from a friend or take a bus.

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: The process was pretty easy; it just takes sometime before you receive your award.

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Greek life on campus is not noticeable I must say.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I feel super safe on campus because I know security measures have been put in place to protect me.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: There are numerous fast food spots near school. It's convenient and the cost is reasonable.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Sincerely, the school campus was very welcoming the first time I set foot there.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: The dormitories are spacious and well-organized. The cost is somewhat expensive.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: The performance of the team is pretty good and the fans are always there to support them.

3 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: Relationships are not lasting. There's variety of looks on a typical day. Some look overdressed, others okay and others shabby.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: The science laboratories are well-equipped as compared to my previous school.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: The school library is large and well-organized. There are numerous places to hang out.

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: I must say there are people from all walks on life on campus. The atmosphere is welcoming.

3 College Freshman

Drug Safety: A ton of students smoke weed. They keep quiet, but the dorms reek of it. Freshmen like to brag about getting drunk, very loudly and in front of adults. Not much is done about drinking, from what I've noticed.

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: The programs set up for victims of sexual assault are very easy to utilize, but there was a period of time in the fall semester of 2013 when there was a sexual assault reported almost every week for a few months. Details of the assaults weren't explained to students, so I have no idea if it was at a party or on campus at night or anything. I feel like the mandatory lecture on sexual assault and safety was useless. They're still telling girls not to get raped instead of telling boys not to rape.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The dorm buildings are kind of tacky, but I think it's cute. The new dorm building being built for 2014/2015 is gorgeous. I hear the dorms get unreasonably hot in the fall and spring.

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: I love Worcester, but WSU isn't in the best part of it. Not a whole lot to do in the Tatnuck square area. To get anywhere cool, you've either got to drive or take public transportation. Walking that far would be insane.

4 College Freshman

Computers: The campus computer labs are really great. There's one in (almost) every academic building, and there are always computers free. You also get a $20 printing credit per semester. Black and white printing is 10 cents per page, and color printing is $1 per page. I didn't have to print anything at home all semester! Just make sure you log out of the system after you print things, because people WILL drain your printing credits.

3 College Freshman

Weather: LOTS of snow storms in the winter, lots of rain in the spring. Absolutely gorgeous in the fall and early summer, though.

1 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I really, really hate this school. It's VERY small, doesn't have great physics or art programs, and the students are very cliquey. It feels like high school. The students are disrespectful to the teachers. A lot of people skip. The radio station and the GSA were my saving graces. Seriously, go check out the radio station. They're so friendly!

2 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: The school is mostly women. Overall, the students tend to be pretty average in appearance. Attractive students definitely tend to stand out, and there are very few of them. Most of the students wear PJ's/athletic gear to class.

3 College Freshman

Diversity: The school is incredibly diverse, racially and economically. I've noticed that most of the school tends to lean more towards the conservative end of the political spectrum. There are a fair amount of LGBT* students, and the GSA club is a really friendly group of people!

2 College Freshman

Nightlife: Your options are either going off-campus to a party at another school or drinking alone in your dorm. Not great.

2 College Freshman

Campus Dining: I've never really had anything great at WSU. The options are extremely limited, and the healthier foods in the commuter cafe are pretty over priced and hard to find. The fries are excellent, though. Everybody loves the fries.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: The financial aid department is a nightmare to deal with. You have to physically go to the office and talk to somebody in person if you want to get anything done quickly. Over the phone, they're always either too busy to help you or they're cranky and difficult. However, my financial aid/scholarship package was exactly what I needed to be able to attend.
