Off-Campus Housing: there is not that many options for off campus housing close to campus

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I don't know too much off-campus living, but the university makes daily announcements about job opportunities and apartment spaces that are up for rent.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: The off-campus housing selection at my school is not as difficult as I thought it would be. The landlords are really helpful and the location is great. I can walk to my classes still, and I feel safe in that environment as well as on campus. The cost is a little more on the expensive side, but all the utilities and cable are included. This means that the stress of paying individual bills like in other apartment complexes does not exist for me. I also like the cleanliness and the availability in room selection. The parking is right outside the apartment complexes, and Winthrop students mainly tell other Winthrop students about staying their. Winthrop requires students to live on campus the first two years unless you are a commuter so this makes the apartment decision very appealing by end of your sophomore year.
