3 College Junior

Greek Life: There is Greek housing and they do play a little role on campus but they are definitely not a huge impact on campus.

1 College Junior

Athletics: Our school lacks school spirit. Not a lot of people attend games and support our athletes.

1 College Junior

Nightlife: The best place to go to have fun is Charlotte. It is about 45 minutes away and as college student not everyone has money every weekend to enjoy themselves and have fun.

2 College Junior

Facilities: There is only one gym and only one cafeteria to eat at. There is only two places on campus to get food, there is only one library.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: I receive the financial aid I am suppose to get but it is not a lot and the school is very expensive.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The class sizes are small and can be very interactive and helpful. The professors are very intelligent and try to help you.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: I have heard people get good jobs and they have successful careers.

4 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: The people are nice and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing.

3 College Junior

Academics: They offer internships and guide you in your major if it is accounting but try to convince you to attend their graduate school

2 College Junior

Academics: The workload is a lot.

1 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: The school does not allow student to live off campus

3 College Junior

Guys & Girls: The people are precept and very nicely dress which is good. You do not usually see people in pajamas or sweat pants.m

2 College Junior

Campus Housing: It could be better because it is very expensive and it is small, dirty, and cheaply made.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: Campus safety is always around and they even having the police drive by every once in awhile. The wingate police is across the street so wouldn't take them long to respond to an emergency if needed.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Although I have had some tough moments over the last two years, I don't think I would choose to go anywhere else. I have learned a lot about myself while I have been there and really made some great relationships. The thing that attracted me to the school and one of the main things that I still love about it is the size, its not too small but just right where you recognize almost everyone and know quite a few just by having classes with them.

4 College Junior

Academics: With my major being fairly new, the class size is still pretty small. With it being that small it's nice because you are really able to get to know the other students in your major and build relationships with your professors which helps to make the learning process a little more relaxed because if you are having a hard time with something you know that there door is always open to help you out with anything.

4 College Junior

Academics: The school offers a great variety of academics for students and most of the professors really care about the students and their academics. They all want to see the students succeed at school and get the most out of their learning experience. Most class sizes are around 30 students so by the end of the semester you get to really know your professor.

4 College Junior

Greek Life: Greek life is huge at our school, it's the next biggest student body next to athletics.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: My school has apartments on campus so most students don't even worry about living anywhere else. The students who live off campus are usually the ones in graduate or pharmacy school. If they do live off campus, it's usually a house because there is a great selection of those right by the school, but if you want an apartment you have to go about 10-15 minutes off campus.

4 College Junior

Scholarships: It may take a while to fill out but it's not terrible. Just keep everything together for everytime you have to fill out the process so that way it's all there and it's easier to fill out.

4 College Junior

Facilities: There are a few things that could be better like the student center, it's not really a place you find students hanging out in unless they are on the computer or working out. A student center should be one were students can come and hangout with their friends. At the school you will only find groups of people hanging out by the pool or out on a saturday night.

4 College Junior

Facilities: It's a small school so you are really able to connect to the others at the school and get to know people really well. My school also offers a great opportunity of taking a class for one semester learning about another country focusing on a specific aspect like art or music for example, then at the end of the semester visiting the country for 2 weeks at a very reasonable price.

4 College Junior

Majors: I haven't had an internship yet but I do plan to take one next summer in a hospital. I'm a nursing student and I'm confident that my advisors would help me find one if I asked. The department at the school is very open and wants students to come to them.

5 College Junior

Majors: The advisors in my department are very welcoming and nice. They make nursing look very rewarding and share their stories all the time and make the atmosphere of the school as relaxed as they can because they know it's not easy.

3 College Junior

Guys & Girls: If you are not in their circle, they most likely wont acknowledge you. The school is split up by greek, sports, and then the other people who aren't involved as much. Not much interaction between.
