The faculty at my school is big on the Wildcats and Wildcat's pride. Most of the faculty show lots of love to the kids involved in athletics. Even regular student who do not participate in any sports can be caught wearing a t-shirt or hoodie.
Sports are a big deal at my college but because of the weather I havent been able to get out much and explore my surroundings. From what I hear though, there are lots of things to do. I also see lots of places to eat on the way to and from school which for a foodie like me is important.
I'm not really involved much in my school's outside events like parties. Since I go to a 4-year public university and there are no dorms it isn't 100% neccesary to be involved in the night life since we all live pretty seperate lives.
Health & Safety:
Campus security's presence is very obvious but not overbearing. They do make themselves know though and are very friendly. If you have night classes they are willing to walk you to your car which I fond to be extremely helpful. Also with our parking so crazy it is helpful that they direct traffic. Their presence alone makes me feel safe and since they are all retired state troopers I feel they are really able to protect better.
I recently started school. I am a college freshmen and I enrolled during the Spring semester. This particular Winter we have been hit super hard up North by the snow. The parking at my school is terrible. There is an alright amount of parking spaces before most people have to be in class (around 9:00/9:30 but at our peak times... parking is terrible. To make things worse when it snows and we are stuck having class, we have to park around the corner by the church and sometimes even in the elementary school parking lot and get bussed over! The weather has definitely been having a negative impact on my college experience.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
