Health & Safety: I feel super safe on campus, but I have heard about thefts and people on campus who shouldn't be

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: We have one campus security SUV, and they pay more attention to giving people tickets for parking in non designated areas then stopping "bad" things from happening.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: The campus safety dept. try to keep everything in order. They make sure that people aren't' parked in the wrong place or a ticket will be there. They are quick to respond to emergency situations and are extremely helpful and nice. If a building is locked, they will come to unlock it for you. They also have emergency buttons in the parking lots so that if there is an emergency, they can be there fast and possibly scare off any trouble makers before a crime happens (aka, a person alone in the parking lot pushing the button could scare off possible offenders).

Health & Safety: The town and campus are considered safe, and I suppose they are but this isn't a "secure" campus. Security is one guy driving around campus in his car. And other than the dorms, anyone could walk into any building.

In terms of health, I've never gotten the plague at Jewell... but students have many options if they need to see a doctor.

Health & Safety: Safety and Security – Campus safety is great. I never feel unsafe walking around the campus, even at night. I personally have never heard of a crime occur on campus.
