4 College Freshman

Greek Life: Its different from other schools and it really doesn't matter if you join or not, nobody treats the other different

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: It is pretty average compared to most schools.

4 College Freshman

Greek Life: There are a variety of frats/sororities to join. While they do throw the typical parties on campus, they also do great things for the community! Each is dedicated to a certain cause, and they're always raising money to support/donate to the cause.

4 College Junior

Greek Life: The Greek organizations are pretty Panhellenic and are very closely-knit. I think Greek life at Jewell is very important and gives people a place to call home. Greek life at Jewell provides leadership opportunities. However, some of the organizations are very cliquey and only allow "their type" in to their organization.

3 College Junior

Greek Life: This grade would be higher and perhaps deserves to be so; all Greek organizations are very active and contribute very positively to Jewell. I chose this grade though due to the effect the Greeks have on social things at Jewell--things like Homecoming are dominated by Greeks almost to the point of excluding independents. While non-Greeks can participate, both Greeks and non-Greeks know that these events have been, are, and will continue to be dominated by Greeks.
