College Sophomore

Nightlife: We don't really have parties!

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: There is a lot of events on campus but when those are not going on your only real options are restaurants or coffee houses. Great sushi close to campus.

4 College Freshman

Nightlife: Lots of activities on and around campus. Christian college so no drinking on or off campus. Short drive away from movie theater, mall, and bowling.

4 College Sophomore

Nightlife: I believe that whatever life you live, be it at night or during the day, is completely up the to the student. Whereas my nightlife tends to be spontaneous and I tend to avoid making solid plans after a certain hour, I am not opposed to being rounded up for a spur-of-the-moment outing to get food or have fun.

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: There is no bar/club scene, underage nightlife or wild parties on campus, due to restrictions and atmosphere. Off campus it depends on the students, some of who are much into that scene. General nightlife is a game of pool, movies and guitar playing.

Nightlife at Jessup is rather slow because of the strong rules against drinking and partying on campus, but that doesn't mean students don't have fun! Many students find themselves attending midnight movie premieres at the nearby movie theater, hanging out in the student union playing pool, or just engaging in fellowship with their friends outdoors and over coffee. While students' nighttime plans rarely consist of clubbing or anything in the partying realm, they often find locations on campus to suit their needs, whether it be for studying or socializing.

On occasion, clubs and other groups will have parties or events of celebration that do not include alcohol or anything that could be deemed "questionable," which students also find as fun and appropriate uses of the night hour.

Did You Know?
Because of strict rules on alcohol and partying, most students don't typically go out to bars or clubs because it would break their student conduct contract. However, there are often lots of fun activities to participate in on campus that students enjoy in the evening.
