Campus Resources: It's just a technical college.

Online Courses: The workload was insane. Each week there would be 6 or more chapters to go through for up to 3 courses at a time.

Due to the hybrid program, we had to have so many face to face hours and that was a hassle. The program heads never had the schedule for the new courses out until a few days before it started. This caused 5/20 students to lose their jobs.

Academic Flexibility: There are a few teachers that deserve praise and glory for being such great instructors. However, when I say few.. I mean FEW! The hybrid nursing program was a disaster. I understand it was new and they were trying to get the kinks worked out. Having students by electronic passcodes to use programs that WATC did not even have set up or available was bs. Us students were not reimbursed for the un-used items.

When asking instructors questions regarding anything to the class, body systems, pathophysiology of the body...the main answers was google it. NO, I am paying you to teach...so teach!

The clinical director was extremely rude and never responded in a timely manner. When she covered a clinical class, she showed up on day in pants that looked like pajamas and a tweety bird t-shirt, and the next day wore a white/stained/mid drift top. The employees at the clinical site were asking why the instructor was wearing such clothing.

During clinicals, pray you do not have a family emergency or anything come up. They refused to work with their students. 95% of the instructors remained in the assigned room at the site and played games on their computer. One teacher showed up to class drunk and on pain meds and fell asleep during instruction time.

Academic Experience: The nursing program is split up into 3 groups. Morning, Night, and Hybrid programs. These groups do not mix and mingle among each other, which is too bad. The students could learn from each other. It would be helpful for students to teach each other how to read instructors, how to prepare for the class, and study tools to help pass the class.

Student Body: The tech school has a large range of students. There are the aircraft students, automotive students, nursing students, dental hygiene students, and there are large amounts of high school kids that were kicked out of school for disciplinary issues that are trying to get their GED. South campus has more break ins and items stolen, than the other two campuses.

Campus Resources: The network reliability is sketchy. Sometimes it works, and others times it is being fixed. For the 2013 nursing program, we had to buy computer programs that were over a hundred dollars, never used them due to the school not having the program accessibility on their network. Students were not reimbursed.

Campus Resources: There is a library at the south campus...there are some areas for computer access at the north campus. There is not a athletic area...or team due to tech school status.

Facilities: The North campus is the best campus they have. It is modern, up to date, and clean. The South campus sits across the street from a strip club...you can tell drunk drivers leave there which risks student safety in many ways. The Oliver campus is not appealing at all.

The nursing program has an awesome sim lab at the north campus. There is a mannequin that gives birth. You can see the contractions, it bleeds, you can pull the placenta out....it is amazing! The Maternal child class is the hardest class of the program, but has one of the best teachers and she makes models by hand to help her students.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The program is over priced for the education they provide.

Financial Aid has ONE woman that works with the nursing program. I was enrolled in the nursing program, and was assigned to her. She was a nice, organized and helpful consoler. I have zero complaints about her, but it would be better if the school added another consoler to the nursing program area to ease her work load and get students helped faster. If you accidently get connected with another financial aid consoler, just hang up the phone and call back. The other consolers are rude, short, snippy, and act as if transferring a phone call will break their back. Also, make sure you follow all steps word by word because not many people in the office are willing to NICELY help students through the steps.

Overall Experience: The whole fact that i couldnt get a job though them, in the federal work study program was a disappointment.

Academic Experience: Not many real job opportunities so far but a few

Academic Experience: Dont really know mch else to say about this topic sorry.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Have really had no problems with the academics so far, pretty good.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Seemed like the total amount expected to be received in financial aid was not very clear.

Campus Resources: The campus resources are for the most part pretty good. They definitely give you all the needed tools and equipment to get a quality education. As far as the Federal Work Study program is concerned though, they are not very willing to allow interested students to participate. Makes no sense to me why accept students to come learn in the facility and then deny them to work in the same facility and gain experience first hand simply due to past history.

5 College Senior

Career Services: Everyone at WATC is very friendly and helpful, They really help you understand what you need to do to get where you want to go.

3 College Senior

Online Courses: I personally have not been able to take an online course from WATC yet, but other students have told me that they prefer it because of the convenience and ease of the website.

3 College Senior

Student Body: We have people from all walks of life at WATC, we have high school students who are trying to get some early credits, we have single mothers who are trying to make a better life for themselves and their kids, and we have people who are trying to juggle work and school. WATC students usually become a school family and make friends quickly and they love to learn and are there to succeed.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Currently I'm taking general education courses, I plan to apply to the school of social work at Wichita State University, either this fall, or next spring. My experience at WATC has been wonderful, largely due to the instructors and resources.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: This school is very flexible with my work schedule. That's one of the most important things to me. If I am working and in school the two need to coincide smoothly with one another.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: WATC is still very young, so theres few mistakes now and then. Although the mistakes aren't that severe and it's usually due to a technical error or misleasing information. Other than that the Financial Aid is actually very functional. Here recently they have been doing much better with the information they give students and letting us know whats available to us..like this website :)

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: WATC has lots of resources and activities. Like concerts, seminars, and can't forget Skill USA that's held every year at WATC.

3 College Junior

Career Services: This college is still growing and I want to be a part of its rich history of teaching.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: student center and libary are fantastic availablity and varity
