5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I have not experienced any safety issues, and there are fewer than 3 safety incidences on campus per year.

Campus Dining: It was great at first, but quickly became boring and dull.

Computers: I do not have any difficulties with network reliability and speed of my computer but have heard many people complaining of this.

Guys & Girls: With all the possible varieties of clubs and organizations and dorm dates and prime time (nightly dorm activities) I imagine the social life of dating is awesome, although I am in a long distance relationship.

College Freshman

Nightlife: I can't comment on this as I am underage and have not been to any bars and am unaware of any underage clubs.

College Freshman

Transportation: I can't comment on this too much as I have my car and don't use any transportation other than catching a ride to the airport. I am unaware of the transportation options.

3 College Freshman

Parking: The parking permit costs are below average, but the amount of spots are sparse. I happen to live in a dorm close to the parking, so I don't have the complaints that I hear other people have.

Overall Experience: It is one of the best choices I have ever made. I love the small size, the dry campus, it is private, and christian. Everything I desired. I had hoped everything I thought I wanted would be what I truly liked, and yes indeed i like it all.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Because it is a large city, the variety is limitless. Therefore, so is the costs, convenience, and ethnicity. Haven't heard of any places that offer student discounts though.

Weather: The weather is awesome in Spokane....we have 4 actual seasons with exactly what that sounds like. Sun, turning leaves, snow, rain, brown turning to green and newness. It never gets boring.

4 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: Spokane is beautiful and I love the weather. It actually has four seasons. I have not done enough in the city, but have heard great options exist. The community involvement seems to be thriving with numerous cultural events.

5 College Freshman

Greek Life: It is the best, simply because it does not exist. I was thrilled to hear the school I wanted to attend did not have a Greek life. Granted, I am assuming this, but it seems as if there were enough cliques in high school and I was looking forward to not having this aspect in college. So, for me this is the best.

Drug Safety: I chose, it's the best, because it is so minimal on our campus. It is a dry campus, but I wasn't sure if that would truly be the case. I have only heard of two incidents involving any drugs on campus. There is absolutely no peer pressure and the authorities enforce the dry campus policy to the fullest as far as I am aware.

4 College Freshman

Academics: The math education program is rigorous and specific. The workload is challenging, but doable. The best part of this program is the professors are incredibly helpful and personable. The classes at Whitworth are relatively small with most of the courses being less than 20 people.

Academics:
The academics offered at Whitworth are numerous, especially when considering how small the campus is. As a freshman, the counselors, professors, RA's all help through all difficulties of the first year of college.

4 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: No drug use, cohabitation, or drinking are allowed on campus.

3 College Freshman

Diversity: There are mostly Caucasian people on campus. However, all races are accepted into the community. People aren't judged by their ethnic background.

3 College Freshman

Transportation: I actually haven't really needed to use the public transportation because I get rides with my friends when I do go off campus.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I really enjoy the dorm that I am living in.

4 College Freshman

Majors: I really enjoy the major I am studying for.

4 College Freshman

Majors: I plan to intern in Costa Rica when I study abroad there.

4 College Freshman

Facilities: The facilities are very high quality here. The air conditioning and heating are awesome. The bathrooms and classrooms are very clean.

4 College Freshman

Facilities: There are many opportunities for the students to participate in. There are clubs, intramurals, and sports that a student can join.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There are many ethnic restaurants around my university. They are very good, but can get costly.

4 College Freshman

Academics: I am a Spanish major. The courses offered for the major are very interesting and help the student think.
