Tuition & Financial Aid: There could be more instruction on financial aid, a bigger office for this (current status: 2 windows at which to sit and talk with an officer), and yet the funding from the U.S. government is simply not there to allow for this. As i understand it, the funding for higher education is dwindling in favor of other aspects of governance. Financial aid is dwindling as the interest rates for student loans climb. The tuition costs at WCC are reasonable though, roughly $110 per credit if attending full time and i do feel that i am getting my money's worth in educational fulfillment. Some people are immensely concerned when their financial aid is not available at the beginning of the quarter (understandably!) but the pattern seems to be the same elsewhere, with disbursement taking time, aid not becoming available until after classes begin.

Tuition & Financial Aid: It's pretty average. I don't like how we had to wait 30 days to receive loans due to the high default rate.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Fin aid wants to cut me off when I am almost done. Because I had one bad quarter, which I did every thing they had asked of me

Tuition & Financial Aid: I think pursuing community education before transferring to a 4-year university is the smartest thing to do budget-wise. Plus, you are taking many standard introductory classes that are the same even at larger public universities, so it is better to get those out of the way at a lower cost.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Financial aid is so frustrating. I couldn't even file last year because the school kept needing more and more from me
