Academic Experience: My interests are too varied to assume a specific degree. Right now i am working towards an associates (transfer) degree and so it will be a while until i know what specifically i am aiming to become. Though there are specific studies i wish to pursue, i don't believe i can achieve them through this college.

Academic Experience: Though i am not apart of the programs that i have heard are among the best at Whatcom Community College (medical, dental assisting) i know that the people enrolled in them are having a good and challenging time of it. Registration is sensible, though the interface is a bit clunky and reminiscent of the internet as it appeared in 1995. Once the system is understood and a student registers for classes the output from the system makes sense and is easy to amend later. Professors at Whatcom are well informed and know what they are talking about, the best among them (and there are several of these) teach with an enthusiasm on their subjects of study that i find encouraging, inspiring.

Academic Experience: The unique aspect about my experience at Whatcom Community College is that I'm actually also a high school student. This means that I'll graduate from my high school and the community college at the same time. People are very accepting of Running Start people in my experience, and there's a whole office just to help people in my program. It's a wonderful experience.

Academic Experience: There's so many classes to choose from! The variety is almost daunting- I want to take everything, but I only have two years to complete my degree. I've had very positive experiences with the professors so far, the curriculum is manageable as long as you keep up with it, and I generally enjoy being in class.

Academic Experience: The program I am in is fairly standard and includes similar classes to what you would take at other community colleges.
