3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Tomorrow us the first DAY OF CLASS!

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: I just received my books today! they are all very thick so I definitely expect some excitement.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: As far as I know Westwood as a lot of other programs and courses that you could take if you start and want to change or add in courses

3 College Junior

Online Courses: I really can rate them right now. I haven't started the on-line courses, only on campus. I couldn't skip this...

3 College Junior

Career Services: I do not know much about the alumni network or any job prospects. I have not seen the career center

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: library is small and we pay $100 fee to use the resources. I am a new student so that shocked me.

2 College Junior

Campus Resources: So far, the computers are SLOW. but again I'm new!

College Junior

Online Courses: Have not had any online courses yet

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Just trying to finish in time, teachers all motivate the students

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: I love what I am studying and love my teachers that have helped me on my way . im still fairly new but I know I will learn a lot

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: Teachers are good, on field teachers are great.

4 College Junior

Student Body: The people I met have been good to me.

3 College Junior

Facilities: This school finishes the terms every 9 weeks. It is a fast paced program to help students enter the real world faster.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: School is very expensive, and I hope I get a job in my field. I am currently working in the field I will have a career in aswell to give me a boost hoping this is enough to land a good job. Other then that financial aid is very helpful.

4 College Junior

Career Services: A lot of help when looking for a job. Good opportunity to refine your resume before you start applying for jobs.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Parking is the only problem due to being in the city. Everything else is fine teachers work with the students to get the best they can get. My field teachers are great with there on-field experience to bring to the teaching table.

3 College Junior

Student Body: My school is primarily African American, I am one of maybe three Caucasians in the entire school. At times I do not understand the culture because of the differences, but I enjoy that the school provides me with an opportunity to become more comfortable around people who are not like me.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I have really enjoyed some of my classes in particular the classes like Success Strategies and Ethical and Critical Thinking, which imparted great wisdom and self-knowledge. some of the classes require you to develop skills that are immediately applicable in real life which I find fantastic. In all the environment is mostly fun loving, but it is a little early in my time here to decide whether or not I would do it all over again.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: My credits transferred over very easily, and I got credit for almost all the classes I had taken at my previous college. I wish registration was a little more flexible and open, but that is partly due to the fact that the other students are either ahead of or behind me. Some of the curriculum is set in stone which gets frustrating at times when the teacher doesn't really do anything with it they just kind of say "Here's the stuff you're supposed to know now go learn it.", but as I stated before there are more great teachers than poor.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: We do have a library which has quite a good selection given it's tiny size and the librarian is always helpful and funny. The staff does a pretty good job of making an effort to congratulate us when we accomplish honors by throwing parties and holidays are always fun around the school. The Professors also make an effort make the learning interesting and enjoyable.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: There are several computer labs in the school and you can always find a free computer to work at during the day. The network speed is not always the best but it's usually pretty good. There is no quota on our printers and they are free, so anybody can print anything at anytime! The college also doesn't expect you to have a personal computer, so most Professors will give in class lab time for assignments.

4 College Junior

Facilities: The thing that I do really like about the school is that because it is so small it kind of has a family feel to it. Most of us recognize each other and the faculty is always checking up on us and making sure we're doing okay in our classes.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: The workload and curriculum, while somewhat intense at times, is very managable. I have teachers that exceed my expectations and then I have some that are sub par, the ones that exceed have been a wealth of knowledge and wisdom that I wil take with me forever. I enjoy that the curriculum focuses a lot on getting hands on experience and developing career based skills, both for your specific job and for any job you might ever want. There is a lot of focus on developing interpersonal skills and becoming the best employee and leader you could possibly be.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: The Professors for the most part are excellent and love what they are teaching, on occasion I get a professor who is slightly aloof towards his/her students. The registration process while easy to set up is a tad bit more restrictive than what I experienced at my previous school, because the class sizes are smaller you can't really go "that looks fun right now, can I take it?" The workload depends on the teacher but for the most part it is rather reasonable. They have tutoring at our campus, but I have never used it so I have no idea how it works.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I feel like I could be getting a little more for my money bu I do have several teachers who honestly care and are fantastic educators. I wish the financial aid process was a little clearer, but otherwise it's fairly decent.
