Overall Experience: The courses I have taken were great. The professors were very helpful. The administration, for the most part, is unorganized and not very helpful.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: Large selection of courses and availability of online, evening, and some Saturdays.

Career Services: I am unaware of any assistance in this area.

Academic Experience: A change in career led me here to begin pursuit of my dream. I say begin because due to communication delays to many students this year, a large number were not able to test for a particular program. I was included. That being said I am in the process of changing programs, which in the end appears to be a much better choice. The director of the particular program leaves a lot to be desired. She is catty, and has a mentality that she is above everyone else's level. It's sad.

Academic Experience: There is a great selection of courses, lots of flexibility, and lots of agreeable transfer options.

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: The online courses here are fantastic if you can master utilizing your time wisely. I have taken half of my courses online and honestly have only had an issue with one professor not communicating.

All in all, if you need flexibility and can manage your time wisely the online courses are a good choice.

Campus Resources: I have not truly utilized any of these subjects.

Campus Resources: The campus seems to have everything it needs, but nothing in excess.

Tuition & Financial Aid: This is a local community campus which is an excellent step for students who would like to transfer or are in need of a certificate or AAS. The cost is very reasonable, at least half of what other colleges charge for tuition and in most cases a minute fraction of the cost.

Facilities: In terms of the size and layout of the campus, it's fantastic! There are many outdoor and indoor areas to relax and study, although indoor seems to be fairly noisy. The college seems to keep up with the aesthetics very admirably. Landscaping and outdoor spaces look great in the spring through fall.

Student Body: The population of the student body is very diverse. Perhaps I am not an excellent person to answer this question in terms of the personalities and drive, etc. I am here solely to move on in my life and gain the education I need to do so. I do find it extremely irritating when I seem to constantly hear students complaining that 'the tests are so hard'...'i can't keep up with all of this homework'. A. You are adults...and B. This is college, not kindergarten. Welcome to life!

Tuition & Financial Aid: WCCC's tuition and financial aid was a life saver for me. I'm putting myself through school, and I had to leave Chatham University after my first semester due to financial difficulty and the University not willing to help me or work with me. WCCC helped me back on my feet and helped me to pursue my goals.

Student Body: The student body at WCCC is very diverse in many ways, but mostly everyone is friendly and accepts all differences.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: I am a transfer student who started at Chatham University in Pittsburgh and is looking to finish up Gen-Eds and decide on a major before transferring to another university. The staff and faculty at WCCC are very friendly and helpful with this process.

Overall Experience: My overall experience has been great. I am a transfer student and the processes at WCCC has been easy for me. They are great with explaining which classes transfer and make the processes easy to understand. Everyone is hands on and more than willing to help. If I could start over I would not only finish my schooling at WCCC but I would of started there as well.

Career Services: At WCCC they have many options to help after graduation. They offer counselors to help you make tough decisions and testing which helps you decided which path is best for you to follow. They also offer information for employers backing their education and why hiring a WCCC student is best for your company. It is nice to have someone on your side making the tough decisions with you.

Academic Experience: I looked into many nursing schools and WCCC allowed me the flexibility I needed to obtain my degree. They offer night and weekend schedules which fits my schedule. Also the small class size and personal experience you receive from the teaching staff makes it an enjoyable experience.

Academic Experience: The academics available at WCCC are great for a non traditional student. Professors are available any time you need them, you get to have a close relationship with your professors. They are willing to help anytime needed and help you with any issue you are having with your work load.

Online Courses: I'm a non traditional student, I work full time and take courses around my work schedule. Taking online classes make it possible for me to attend school while working. Without online classes I would not be able to attend school. I find the online classes to be just as informational as on campus class but online classes allow non traditional students like myself to have flexibility to attend school and continue our day to day lives. Online classes are allowing me to obtain my degree and the more classes available will only allow more non traditional students like myself gain a degree.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The campus has several helpful resources available to students. The student center has been helpful to my academic career by providing tutoring. They made it easy to schedule a tutoring session around my schedule and provided staff that for my needs.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The computer labs on campus are a great place to get your work done. They offer several computers, making it easy to use the machines. There are no long waiting time to gain access and the printers are located near by to retrieve your work. Also, IT on campus is always available and quick to help solve any problems you may have.

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: I am an out of county student so the rates are more expensive for me to attend school. I find it difficult to pay the extra expense expected of me because of my location. The financial aid office helps at a minimal level, they give me basic information and send me on my way. A more personal level of help would be appreciated but by the semester start my financial aid is worked out.

Facilities: great value for the money

Recent Alumnus

Online Courses: Never took an online class

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: If you knew how to schedule your classes it was the only way it was flexible, most people who schedule did not care about home many hours you wasted in between classes doing nothing when you could of been of going to work.
