3 College Junior

Guys & Girls: Due to the small christian school stigma, students are often looking for serious relationships and casual dating can be difficult at times. There is a ratio of 3:1 females to males. Also, there is definitely a "Westmont type." Women are typically blonde, thin, tan, with great style and lots of friends. Men typically are "outdoor-sy" with beards, rolled up jeans, and chakko sandals. Christian hipsters all around.

Guys & Girls: Westmont raves about its diversity, but in a reality the students are all fairly similar. Most students come from upper-middle class Christian families and their attitudes and dress reflect that. Westmont students pride themselves on being outdoorsy and all-natural.

Guys & Girls: Business Casual – Most of the students tend to dress in a professional manner mainly wearing collared shirts daily with close toed shoes. But there has been a trend in the past few years to be wearing flip flops and toms.

Guys & Girls: A Little Bit of Everything – One of the great things about Westmont is the absolute variety found in a relatively small school. There's definitely a little bit of everything, from free spirits to partiers to serious academics and everything in between. This goes for girls as well as guys, and the integration between the two genders is great; it's totally normal for a guy to hang out with a girl who is his friend as much as a guy who is his friend, be it one-on-one or in a group. Relationship statuses are pretty low-key, and there's great group dynamics and wide friend circles because of all the variety.

Guys & Girls: More Girls Than Guys – Everyone here is exceptionally friendly and there is such a warm and welcoming spirit on campus. There are a lot more girls than guys- about two to one is the ratio, but I'm pretty sure it's more than that. Most students are interested in some type of off-campus missions since we are a school centered on Christ and the community, which is great.
