Off-Campus Housing: This seems to be more hit or miss. My first off campus experience was decent for cost, space, and accessibility to both the campus and grocery stores, however the landlords were unhelpful and the apartment was mold infested for most of the year. My second experience was difficult in getting the apartment approved as a college student, and the apartment is not very spacious but the proximity to the campus and the price are wonderful. Many students have had poor rental experiences though, and students have made several petition efforts to increase rental safety and liability.

Off-Campus Housing: You will likely have the option of living downtown, near campus, or in a more suburban environment. Generally, most apt's and houses are really nice, but you have to be careful. There are landlords out there that will charge you unreasonable prices for what are basically crap holes.

Off-Campus Housing: Easy to get food late at night, not a ton of options but it is good.

5 College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: Pros are that off campus housing is close to campus or a bus route. The price of housing is about the same and there is a lot of availability.

College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: I don't really know much about off-campus housing to be able to accurately gauge the quality of it.
