3 College Junior

Online Courses: We don't use much for online courses, it's mainly for extra notes. I am in the automotive field and i don't think online automotive classes would be very benefical.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: We had multiple choices for class scheduling. Once the classes are set thats how they stay you may be possible to switch schedules only if size and material being covered is the same.

3 College Junior

Student Body: Alot of the students are fresh out of high school so they don't have they same kind of push i do to be here. I Graduated back in 2009

Overall Experience: So far my classes are great and i enjoy every minute of them. I usually get sad when we have vacations because I love the courses i am taking. The material is very in depth and hands on. I have no complaints expect that i feel time is scarce. With only 2 years and a lot of material or lab time for some sections seems a little short.

Career Services: We had an entire change in the school system and they offfered to take care of all of our registration for us.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The finacial aid is helpful for paying for classes. The only issue to come is when it comes to purchasing tools. I'm trying my best to save what i can so i can purchase tools with my student discount before im done. (student discount ends when i finish my 2 years)

Campus Resources: I have not had any issues with the computer network at school. The labs are kept up and running with no issues. Any time a computer does go down tech support is usually there within a week. For the time that computer is down another one can be used due to how many are available.

Campus Resources: The campus aesthetics are very well laid out. Our dining area was fitted with automotive related material and our classrooms give a feel of what the workplace will be like.

Academic Experience: Our instructors do an amazing job. Some people may think certain ones are not that great but they do not seem to show as much interest as i do. Every instructor i have had seems to know a great deal of knowlegde about teaching and the curriculum. Any one else who thinks the instructors are not that great lack an understanding of how teaching works or don't have a level enough mind set to let petty things go.

Academic Experience: I think the program is amazing. All of the work we do is mainly hands on which i feel is a great way to learn. We do have in class time which is generally lecture and taking notes but that also is needed. You can't just have one or the other both are required to have information sink in completely. We will be taking an internship in our second year of study, which should prove to be an interesting experience.

Facilities: My campus is not acutally on the main campus. I usually have no need to go to the main campus so i only use whats available here. On this campus its strictly everything related to our classrooms. We have a very nice dining area that was freshly remodeled, a computer lab with enough computers for everyone, and plenty of study space. The facilities are maintaned to a high standard and if anything is to go wrong with them they are taken care of as soon as possible.

Academic Experience: In first semester and not really sure. Most of my classes are online.

3 College Junior

Student Body: I do not spend much time on campus with other students. I am a non traditional student and only have 1 on campus class at this time.

3 College Junior

Facilities: Do not spend much time on campus.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: I have 3 online courses. One instructor is prompt with posting information and giving feedback. One put everything up the first day for the entire course and has not answered the 2 emails I sent with questions on content and resources. The third has been late in posting assignments, did not respond to my emails, has not been clear on due dates and seems to not care.

Facilities: For a relatively small school, Western is quite a nice place to go to school.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The professors are very friendly and helpful. The workload is not too stressful.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: My major is not focused on because it is community college.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: My school is very diverse. Many types of people attend my school and it is relatively easy to find others with like interests.

1 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: the financial aid process is a load of crap. They can never give me a straight answer and I've been considered dependent on my parents even though i'm 23 years old and haven't been dependent on them in years!!

5 College Junior

Facilities: I really like the accelerated programs. They have allowed me to be able to work and go to school at the same time.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: nice computer labs, wireless access is great and speed is fine.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: Great fitness center, computer labs, library.

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: I feel that the tuition rate is fair and there seems to be no problem in applying for financial aid. They do a great job in trying to find us discounts on books and computer software.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: I feel like, while a lot of my peers are friendly in class, I have not really connected with anyone outside of class. I feel like a lot of people wither already have their friends or they are so focused on school that making new friends isn't on their to-do lists.
