3 College Junior

Transportation: You can usually walk to anyplace in town.

1 College Freshman

Transportation: The town is so tiny and low key that there really is no transportation. Most people just walk which can be a hassle in the freezing cold and snow.

4 College Senior

Transportation: easy to find, convenient, free, local and long distance

3 College Junior

Transportation: Public buses are free from campus to Crested Butte which is a skiing destination for students and the community. It's about 30 minutes away and the bus comes several times an hour. It isn't totally necessary to have a car on campus because Gunnison is only a mile radius so campus is always in reach, however, a car is desirable because of how cold it gets here in Gunnison. It's rare that someone walks to class every day in the cold if they live off campus. We have an airport here but it is pretty expensive to fly in and out of. Denver is located approximately 4 hours away and it is easy to find a ride with someone or you can use the bus and pay for a ticket. I'm not sure of the price.

5 College Sophomore

Transportation: The best things in life are free and here if you're too drunk to walk then safe ride will take you anywhere.
