2 College Freshman

Facilities: Campus life feels like high school round 2. Athletic events are not worth going to as we are a d3 school and school spirit is nonexistent. Campus is very tiny, be prepared to walk to town if you need anything. There are no restaurants, convenience stores, or other conveniences on campus.

2 College Freshman

Facilities: If you are not an avid snowboarder or skiier, don't even bother. That is the social scene here and since winter takes up practically the whole school year if you don't love winter activities you can say goodbye to any chance of a social life. If you do love it, and I mean LOVE it, give western a try... keep in mind winter means -20 degrees daily here.

Facilities: Western has amazing facilities for students to use. All but one or two buildings are new or have been recently renovated, and there is rarely a problem being able to access the student rec center, library, or student union. When the weather is nice there are several green spaces for students to enjoy a game of ultimate frisbee, slack lining, or just relaxing in the sun. It would be almost impossible for a student NOT to find a place to study or hang out with their friends!

Facilities: Because Western is such a small school, there is almost an unlimited number of opportunities to get to know others and get involved on campus. They have a significant variety of clubs, and a ton of hands on experiences in every academic program that you could not get at larger schools. For example, the psychology department has rats for studying, the geology department has the Rocky Mountains for their playground, the film department has access to state of the art equipment, and I could go on for every single department on campus. These are opportunities many students attending larger schools could only dream about, or have to wait until their graduate program to start working with.

4 College Junior

Facilities: It's a small school and easy to make friends and get around in such a fun little town.
